If you want hot sun, soft white sand, crystal clear turquoise and emerald green sea and incredibly friendly members of staff then look no further than Sea Breeze Beach House. We have just returned from our 2nd visit there, albeit 20 years apart. A few changes but for the better, an extra pool has been added, it's called the lap pool in front of the classic beach front rooms. The children's pool is in the middle by the classic pool/garden view rooms and the snack bar and some toilets. Then you get to the Mahogany area which includes the new block of ocean view suites. Below is the Mahogany restaurant and bar, my favourite place for buffet breakfast bacon, eggs, mushrooms, toast, fruit, pastries and plenty more including teas, coffees, juices and water. Oh and amazing milkshakes, pancakes and waffles. You can eat either in or outside. Walking up the gentle slope to the gazebo and the Cerulean restaurant ( I highly recommend the managers special beef tenderloin) eating dinner with the warm sea breeze and watching the moon rise casting a glow over the ocean. By the restaurant is a seating and stage area for drinks and socialising. Next to the Cerulean is the Aqua Terra restaurant also with inside or outside, all the restaurants and bars all have the most wonderful staff, these great people, every single one of them are what help to make this hotel as great as it is. By the Aqua Terra restaurant and Driftwood rooms is the adult only pool and terrace, very quiet and peaceful, there are steps down to the beach and the Tipsy bar. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our day. I can't say enough about the amazing staff members I wish I could remember all their names here are some you'll be lucky to have serve you, Sean is such a lovely man, Jevon is the best joker, Pia is such a gorgeous lady, then there's Sharon at the Mahogany and Grace and Noreen who is just the cheekiest, these girls were so kind and helpful when i became poorly. “A magical holiday in paradise”

My Mum and I stayed for 9 nights in 2 Oceanfront Junior Suites in April and were delighted with the hotel rooms, all the staff were so friendly, greeting us, wishing us a lovely day, asking if they could get us anything else. The hotel is one of the best I have been to and I will certainly be looking forward to visiting again. Andrea and Marcia were fantastic making omelettes every morning and they epitomised every member of staff with their professional dedication and friendly demeanour. I wish I knew all the staff names so I could personally thank them for a very memorable and enjoyable stay. An extra thanks goes out to the wonderful lady on reception (apologies I can't remember your name) who organised a replacement transfer to the airport when the pre-booked one failed to show. There is a bus service just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel onto the main road that takes you to Bridgetown and the West Coast in one direction and Oistins in the other. We caught the bus a couple of times – it is super cheap ($2 US per person for a single trip), but beware these are mini-buses that have no air-conditioning and can be quite crowded. The hotel can organise taxis to take you anywhere or will organise any trips for you. I can recommend the Oceanfront Junior Suites – they were well equipped with an all-inclusive mini bar (coke, Sprite, tonic water, ginger ale, lager, bottled water, vodka, gin and, of course, Mount Gay Rum). The rooms also had coffee machines and a kettle and tea, sugar and milk and supplies were topped up daily. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The views from the Oceanfront Junior Suites were just stunning and the balconies made a welcome change from sitting on the beach (they were shaded and cooler). The property has a variety of restaurant options (that need to be pre-booked at least by that morning, but can be booked in advance). Aqua Terra was very relaxed with lovely food, Cerulean was more formal but the food was exceptional (my Mum had the pork and I had the lamb – we can thoroughly recommend both). The Tipsy Tuesday buffet on the beach was a highlight – we went there twice - the chicken and “pull” lamb was delicious. The hotel has 3 pools, one is adults only and is so peaceful. There are loads of different seating areas: the gazebo, Mahogany terrace, the adults only pool, several on the beach with loungers and my favourite in Cerulean bar, where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the lovely breeze. It is truly paradise.

“Wonderful”

I had never visited Barbados and have now been converted! The Sea Breeze was a wonderful place to stay, a beautiful beach and we were made to feel totally at home. Our stay was made even better by the fantastic team, special shout outs to Prince, Damian and the dream Green Team! We enjoyed the pool aerobics and everyone made us feel special, we really didn't want to leave and are already planning our trip back
