We have just returned from our second stay within six months at the incredibly fabulous Hotel Dubrovnik Palace. As a rule we rarely go back to the same hotel twice however, on this occasion we are already planning our third trip! It's very rare to find a hotel that deliveries a combination of fantastic service, is beautifully furnished, relaxing spa, in a perfect location and with views to die for. This hotel has all of these things and more besides. We have to say a big thank you to all the staff at the hotel who made our stay so wonderful, the restaurant teams, the house keeping team, reception team and the spa team are all so very hard working, extremely helpful & friendly. For those who are thinking of booking this hotel do not hesitate. We cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a slice of heaven that's away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, but close enough for you to enjoy your time in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. We also highly recommend the dining experience at the Taverna Maslina which is on the ground floor pool level of the hotel, WOW what an unforgettable evening.. the sunset views and the beautifully presented, delicious food was something very special indeed, and such a lovely treat. Thank-you so much for a wonderful evening. Thank-you for an amazing and much needed relaxing 12 night break, we enjoyed every single moment. Review: We stayed at Hotel Palas Dubrovnik 30 years ago and were excited to return to this beautiful building, which has since been renovated. The hotel is marked as five stars (*****), but in our opinion, there are many minor issues that prevent it from truly meeting the high standards of a five-star establishment, especially in comparison to other European hotels we've visited. The Negatives: Breakfast Variety: The breakfast selection could be improved, particularly with better quality cheeses. The only coffee option available is served from an old thermos, and there's no coffee machine offering multiple types of coffee. The selection of gluten-free products is limited, and there's no diabetic-friendly section. Room Amenities: Our room lacked an iron, ironing board, and shoe polish kit, which are standard features in other five-star hotels. We really want sunbeds on the balcony Spa: One of the spa facilities was not operational during our stay. The Positives: Location: The hotel is ideally positioned in the gorgeous Lapad Bay, offering stunning sea views and proximity to the Babin Kuk tourist hotel complex. A scenic coastal path leads to the city, and bus number 4 conveniently stops right in front of the hotel, taking you directly to the old town. Rooms and Pools: All rooms feature sea views. The hotel has an indoor pool with a spa, while the outdoor pool with a bar and restaurant operates in the summer season. Facilities: Four elevators provide efficient service, and parking and a garage are available for guests. Friendly Staff and Cleanliness: The staff is extremely friendly, and the diligent housekeeping staff maintain an impressive level of cleanliness with twice-daily cleaning. Overall, our off-season stay provided a pleasant experience, and we imagine that the hotel is even better during the summer season. With improvements to breakfast options and room amenities, Hotel Palas Dubrovnik can fully live up to its five-star rating.

Out of many hotels in Dubrovnik, I chose this one and so glad did. My friends and I were in Dubrovnik for 5 days and staying at this hotel made our stay so worthwhile. Wonderful hotel with lovely staff and amazing views of the Adriatic Sea. The rooms all have sea views, the leisure complex is amazing and yet again with sea views. Nothing to fault and looking forward to bringing my family one day.

“Beautiful hotel”

The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room on the 4th floor had stunning views. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was very nice. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room on the 4th floor had stunning views. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was very nice. The body lotion and shower gel were of good quality and had a lovely fragrance. I didn't love having the bed made up as 2 single beds pushed together, as there was actually a wooden frame in the middle of the bed. The breakfast was lovely. The waiters in the restaurants were very attentive and friendly, especially Berina, who looked after us well. The only downside for me was that the hotel is located quite a way out of town and there are no other more casual restaurants nearby, so you are stuck paying high prices for the hotel food. We had the buffet dinner one night, which was ok, but nothing special. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
