Myself and my mother stayed at the hotel for a week at the beginning of July on a half board basis - having been a visitor to Northern Cyprus for over 35 years (albeit not a hotel resident normally) and having read all the negative reviews, was slightly concerned when I booked. I need not have worried, our room was excellent, spacious and modern, clean and tidy and well maintained. We used the hotel as a base whilst on the island and I would agree that perhaps it would be around a 4 star rather than 5, found all staff to be very attentive and eager to please and very pleasant and helpful. The food was buffet style but all fresh and a huge variety, you would be hard pushed to not find something you liked. We arrived during Byram so the hotel was exceptionally busy as we expected. Great hotel for families with option of a huge swimming pool or two areas on the beach - I would highly recommend and wanted to provide a honest and positive review - if I was travelling for a quiet relaxing time I would choose a smaller and quieter hotel but thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

“3-star pretending it’s a 5-star.”

This is really a 3-star hotel pretending it’s still a 5-star, which it may have been once upon a time. This is really a 3-star hotel pretending it’s still a 5-star, which it may have been once upon a time. Apart from the restaurant, which is of a high standard with great variety of food and attentive staff, the rooms and furnishings are rather tired, chipped and dated. We had to ask for a bedside light and three times for the fridge to be made to work. The room safe is not fixed to a wall and is thus portable. There seems to be poor connection between reception staff and management. High-class facilities that one would expect from a 5-star are absent, such as a luxury cafe, gym and a quality shop are absent.
