I join the comments of joys-of-spring. L'Ariana is really situated on the sea, the water is coming up to the walls of the basement, closer to the sea, could not ! The restaurant is excellent, learn to know about their plates and you will enjoy it ! The breakfast sounds expensive but you have 2 bakeries (discover the panini shop, this is also a good bakery) + a restaurant with breakfast offer + the little supermarket. I join j-of-s saying the hotel is a little tired but the sea view is really incredible (prefer rooms with see view for that reason). Large parking place, mostly covered spaces. The city of Bastia is very nice also to discover, bus rides closing at 19.30 but you can enjoy the restaurant of L'Ariana. First experience of Corsica and we know that we will return :-)

lovely place, all the staff excellent, extremely friendly and helpful, location fine if you don't mind being out of the town centre. served by one bus half hourly throughout the day but that stopped running to Miomo approx. 1930 so without a car it limits evening choice. taxi available but incredibly expensive although there are a couple of eating/drinking places 2 mins walk away if you leave the hotel. very clean, a little tired here and there. breakfast and meals nice with table service. right on the sea with mountain views too. swimming pool of a good size and well kept. first visit to Corsica and found it a little expensive for our budget but would return to this hotel and recommend it for those who prefer relaxation. rocky beach. a small convenience shop nearby

This place is good choice if you have plans to visit the lovely village Miomo. Rooms are ok, with all that you need, basic things. They are huge and comfortable. Clean. Bathroom is ok. But, as we have travelled in a group we have got an information that there are rooms with big terrace and perfect view towards the sea, so do not make the mistake to not ask for such rooms as this way your impressions would be for sure much better than ours (we had no terrace and were watching the inner garden area, which is not very representative). Again, as we have travelled as a group, our breakfast was really a small portion of a piece of bread and one croissant with some jelly fruit cream. I suppose that it was the cheapest one, so we had to go to the centre of the village to eat proper breakfast. Other guests had nice and big portions. At the other side, the outer terrace of the hotel and hotel's restaurant is beautiful, looking towards the open sea, with romantic decoration and lightning at the night. There is also a pool area with clean pool, several sun beds and approach to the restaurant area for buying some drinks. Really nice and refreshing place for having a good time under the Corsica sun :) The free wi fi is available only at the lobby, at the reception of the hotel.

The hotel was ok in itself with free parking and wonderful views on the seafront. It was lovely to sit out in the evening looking across the ocean. The room was basic and a little on the grubby side with a thin shower room along the back. The main thing was that it had air conditioning and the bed was comfortable, We came from a hotel that we could walk into town from in the evening, however this one you couldn’t. This isn’t the hotels fault, but we weren’t fully aware that there isn’t much around in Miomo, and had to travel by car to Bastia for dinner. The food at the hotel was nice and reasonably priced compared to the rest of Corsican restaurants! The negatives... the room walls are so thin, we could hear everything from next door long into the night and early in the morning. Guests have to leave their key at reception when they go out, which is a bit of a security issue! The cleaner left our door open all day on one occasion! On Saturday, there was a wedding and the pool closed early and we could not get a drink at the bar. The hotel overall was ok, however I wouldn’t stay here again knowing what we do now.
