My wife & I have just returned from a week at Roda Beach resort. On arriving the check in was quick, we were escorted to our room & found the room spacious with a nice balcony, shower, plenty luggage space & little extras like slippers & dressing gown. The restaurant was spacious with attentive staff , the food was plentiful with loads of choices. The Al a carte restaurants were excellent. The pool area was immaculate & no problem finding a sun bed. All inclusive drinks were a decent standard. I have no complaints whatsoever about this hotel & highly recommend it.

“Fantastic customer service in a great family resort”

We arrived late at night and were greeted with a huge group trying to checking in. We were quickly whisked away from them up to the restaurant to get a snack before the restaurant closed. There was only limited food available but it was really late. The wine however went down very well! When we retuned to check in, I was disappointed to hear that none of my requests forwarded to the hotel pre arrival had been honoured, specifically the one for a room on the ground floor for one of our party with limited mobility. No worries, there was a lift and we would check alternative room availability in the morning. Our room was along a corridor in the main building, an ok size, brightly decorated, with a distant sea view. The bathroom was very small. *top tip - make sure you use the shutters of your prefer a dark room!! We returned to reception the following morning to be greeted with a huge smile from Makram who then proceeded to see to our every need! We were given the opportunity to upgrade to a room with a sharing pool at a very reasonable cost. This may only be possible at quiet times, and not at peak summer times of course, but if offered, you should take it! We loved rooms and were delighted with the new one. It was huge! Perfect for a family of 4, with a sliding door to separate the main bedroom. Spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom too. The only downside is that the bathroom is prone to flooding as the shower is not angled correctly. Towels are on the small side, so if you do prefer a larger one, might be best to bring your own. The pool area outside comes with its own bar serving great drinks and burgers and fries if you get peckish. It was very quiet whiskey we were here, perfect for an adult only break. But may become busier of course at peak times. Food in the buffet was excellent, hot. Lots of choice. Being a party of 6 however, we found it difficult to find a table. On previous hotels, we have been shown to a table, here we had to find our own. A little niggle, but one that could greatly improve the experience. Drinks seem to be hit and miss. The wine (all colours!) is very drinkable. However the drinks at the beach bar lack flavour and aren’t particularly good. Makram booked us into the a la carte restaurant, and we ate in the Italian. Excellent food and service, would thoroughly recommend. We had breakfast at the beach, a great option for a special occasion. Supplement of €15 applies but worth it! Service and the staff have really made this holiday so far. Reception, particularly Makram, cannot do enough for us. From booking restaurants, recommending excursions, providing remote WiFi, retrieving list adapters, suggesting suitable upgrade option, he has been amazing. The kids facilities seem to be great, although we were a kid free party. Lots of slides, park areas and pools to keep them amused. So far, a fantastic experience. If you haven’t already booked your summer holiday, I would urge you to consider this lovely resort!

“Definitely coming again”

Absolutely beautiful place - gorgeous rooms, great food and drinks - right on the beach. The grounds are looked after really well and very clean - staff are fantastic! Especially macron on the reception what a guy! Can’t ask for any more on a family holiday.

This hotel is not in my opinion 5* . I have visited a fair few . Firstly the complex was nice , however not enough sunbeds to accommodate holidaymakers . Rooms could do with a refresh . Food was generally the same daily and usually cold . Also disappointed with the a’la carte . As only allowed to use one , within our stay . And food was not that exciting. So my husband and I eat out quite a lot. Defeating the purpose of All inclusive. Queue at bars in the evening, and not table service to reorder drinks , which would be added bonus . Crepes and ice cream were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful . Generally clean and tidy in communal areas. A few improvements could be made : Eg outside heater in the early part of the season. And ambient lighting . I do appreciate that everyone has different opinions and expectations. Upon reading some of the recent reviews, sadly I do not agree with those comments.,
