“Nice hotel, friendly staff, decent food”

First impressions of the hotel were great, looked lovely, reception staff were kind and friendly getting us checked in. One of the members of staff showed us to our room. The room was nice, clean and well kept. Perfect size for a couple. We ran out of shampoo so a kind lady brought some more to our hotel for us. The pool are and bar is decent, good size. Could do with a few more sun loungers as there were some mornings it was quite busy. The bar staff were amazing, couldn’t fault them one bit. Alexandra during the day often came round and brought us drinks and cleared away any dirty cups and plates. She was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. As well as a couple other staff named Kiril and Ludmilla. Xenia was the lady behind the bar during the day and she was amazing, always friendly and welcoming, made us our own drinks we asked for that weren’t on the menu (we liked the flavoured liquors added into our cocktails) as well as Mr John on an evening. Some days we didn’t fancy a full dinner from the restaurant so we helped ourselves to the snack bar run by a lady called Pela. She kept up full all day and was always a selection of snacks including sandwiches, pizzas etc. The restaurant was good, a range of different foods. Some things weren’t always for me as there were a lot of Greek food which is to be expected. But overall good and kept on top of. Wouldn’t say it is good for the picky eaters however. The staff were great, cleared plates and replenished any drinks. They were all friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner had a spa treatment also which was absolutely amazing. We wore funny underwear but the staff made us feel comfortable. My parter had a massage by Vigilis I believe his name was (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly) and a lovely lady called Silvana did my massage. We were also given a free 15 minute voucher when we arrived for the spa which was great. I used mine for a facial. We both walked out of there feeling very relaxed. Would definitely go again! It is quite a secluded area however so wouldn’t recommend coming to this hotel if you like to venture out on days. It is more for relaxing by the pool as there isn’t much around. A short walk to the beach is great, it’s a small area but still lovely. There are a few shops and restaurants along the front and further away from the restaurant which is good. Overall experience was great, nice hotel and very friendly staff.

“Lovely stay”

We had a room with a private pool and found everything to be lovely. Pools were extremely cold as not heated but as long as the weather holds, that’s no issue. We had a room with a private pool and found everything to be lovely. Pools were extremely cold as not heated but as long as the weather holds, that’s no issue. Staff and people here in general are so lovely and friendly. At dinner, we had Nena serve us a lot and she was so pleasant. Bubbly and always smiling. Food was delicious and all inclusive good value. We also had a couples treatment at the spa which was amazing. Marina, Silvana and Mikela were so accommodating and provided a first class service. We return for a second visit in our two week trip after 4 days in Chania and can’t wait. Cheeky little cats were also an absolute bonus ❤️

April 2024 Lovely spotless hotel, I was by the pool all week, read and slept as was in desperate need. Fabulous selection of food, fab weather and Giota in the restaurant is just lovely, so helpful and understanding. I had a massage in the spa done by Mikela and Marina then floated out. Perfect and highly recommended. I didn't leave the hotel all week, there is a shop next door which is useful. Greek roads are so wide and smooth, not a pothole in sight.

We booked the ‘exclusive’ Sensus area room with rooftop jacuzzi. I think it’s really important to know that whilst on many tour operators websites it indicates it’s an ‘exclusive’ and ‘quiet’ area, it really isn’t either. There were a lot of young children in these rooms and the constant screaming from them in the pool eventually drove us away for a few days. Other guests from other parts of the hotel also used the Sensus area, so it’s not really exclusive at all. I would be interested to see the price difference of the rooms. The jacuzzi is a nice touch, albeit when we used ours for the first time, the area was littered with empty cans and bottles. I didn’t see a bin up there. There was also kids clambering in all of the jacuzzi’s with little supervision from parents. The food is the usual all inclusive buffet fare. Sadly, not to my taste and I really struggled to find something to eat. There’s a lot of ultra processed foods, along with copious salads, most covered in feta. The hot food was consistently cold unless you opted for the grill options, which consisted of pork, fish, pork and more overcooked pork. If you were lucky enough to get bacon at breakfast, it was barely cooked and swimming in grease. A lot of the food was recycled into another dish for different meal times and looked dreadful. There is an al a carte restaurant on site that entitles you to one breakfast and one evening meal per stay. The food is pretty poor there too, overcooked, under seasoned and with loud, overbearing service it didn’t make a pleasant dining experience. Pool towels are free from the spa. The bar in the sensus area was barely manned at times throughout the day, especially when one male member of staff was working. You had to swiftly get up from your sun bed and order as many drinks as you could before he cleared off again. Rooms are small with little storage space but they are clean. Ours however did have an aroma of drains which wasn’t pleasant. For the price we paid for our accommodation I didn’t feel it was value for money and on the whole we were both quite disappointed with the experience. 4 star rated hotel with 3 star amenities/facilities
