We arrived at this hotel later than expected due to a delay of our flight so it was around 22:50, the hotel is situated up a really steep hill and was in complete darkness. We had absolutely no idea where to find the reception, 2 of our party were quite elderly with one having disabilities and there was no one around to help us. We found the reception which is tucked away and really difficult to find in the dark. I had emailed them before our arrival and requested a lower room due to mobility issues which I’m pleased to say they did. The lady on reception was pleasant and directed us to our rooms, again nobody around to help and we had to get all the suitcases up another steep hill. We got into our room and went straight down to the bar as it was hot and we were dying of thirst, we managed to get a small cold drink but then it was 23:00 and they turned all the machines off so we couldn’t get anything else, they don’t tell you that!! They had put a sandwich and a bottle of water in the fridge, be aware that there is no kettles in the rooms. Luckily I had taken my own. THE ROOMS The rooms were very large and absolutely spotless as was all the areas of the hotel, we certainly had no complaints about cleanliness. THE POOL AREA This was spotless and we never once had a problem getting a sunbed. THE BAR The bar was easy to get a drink from with no queues but the drinks menu was very limited. If you had your own drinks vessels they wouldn’t allow you to fill them up you had to use the plastic cups provided which seems wrong when we’re hearing so much about saving the planet and using less plastic. THE FOOD. The restaurant was immediately clean. Breakfast was bog standard with eggs, continental and sausage or bacon but never both, every meal lacked in a choice of fruit which was tinned peaches or fresh oranges in the morning and melon every other meal. The croissants were very greasy. Lunch and evening meals were not too bad just quite limited, the food was always hot. OTHER INFORMATION Be aware that if your pickup transfer is after 18:00 they cut off your wristband at 12:00 and between that and 18:00 you can have the food and soft drinks but after that you can’t have anything unless you pay €10 per person so it works out that you only actually get 13 days of all inclusive. You are only given one key as well so if you go out separately one of you can’t get back into the room. Air conditioning is free there is no Wi-Fi in the room. The is barely any entertainment in the evenings with just Greek singing and dancing twice a week and if you are there for 2 weeks it’s the same both times. There is absolutely no atmosphere at the bar in the evening and nothing to do so you have to go out if you don’t want to be bored. We had a lovely holiday because a holiday is what you make it but I don’t think we would return. One more note. We booked this with Love Holidays and we couldn’t fault anything about them.
