Beloved is truly a special place. This was our second time here, and we were once again blown away by the level of service and the relaxing atmosphere. The resort is beautifully appointed, peaceful, and romantic. The beach is very private and pristine. The resort was fully booked while we were there, and yet in never felt crowded. No need for dinner reservations and no one saving loungers at the pool or the beach. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity. The restaurants are all great. I can’t review the Beloved without mentioning the staff, who truly make this resort such a unique place. Everyone there is dedicated to making your experience as enjoyable as possible. Special shout out to: Aline the Sommelier: My wife and I are foodies and we love our wine. Beloved stands out from other all inclusives in having a sophisticated and diverse wine list. Aline is knowledgeable and very friendly and has done a great job curating the wine selections. We highly recommend one of the wine or spirits tasting experiences. We did the Tequila Tasting and the Secret Cellar and loved them both! Guadalupe at the Bocadito Taco Truck: Guadalupe is a treasure and the Beloved is lucky to have him! He made amazing, authentic tacos for us every day. We love tacos and were happy to have whatever the “Chef’s choice” was for the day. Monteserrat, Entertainment Manager: Monteserrat ran the entertainment and activities while we were there, and she was very professional and so much fun. We appreciated the enthusiasm and charisma that she brought to every activity. Whether it was crafts on the beach or Blackjack in the pool, we knew we were in good hands with Montsie! Also a special thanks to Christian, Anuar, Vanessa, Denisse, Claudio, Oscar, Juan Carlo - just some of the other amazing and attentive staff who made our stay so pleasant. Truly everyone who works there is wonderful. If you’re considering a stay at the Beloved Playa Mujeres, don’t hesitate - just book it! It’s a magical place and you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re anything like me, you did far too much research on dozens of all-inclusive resorts. Scrolling through pages of reviews, watching youtube videos, deep dives on forums and Facebook groups. After all my searching, I’m so happy Beloved Playa Mujeres was the decision. Booking our stay with Beloved was easy. The website is set up well and easy to navigate. Once I decided on a room and finished the reservation, I got a confirmation email quickly. You also receive information about transportation from and to the airport. When our honeymoon got closer, I reached out to the transportation company. Setting up our transit was simple and didn’t require endless back-and-forth between several companies Our driver was waiting for us exactly where the email said they would be. We were greeted and quickly set up with a driver who took our bags and helped us into the transit vehicle. Our driver was Iram, and he was great. Friendly, polite, and helpful. Iram gave us cold bottled water and we were off. Beloved is a relatively short drive from the Cancun airport. Took us around 35 minutes. Once we were on site, the Beloved staff greeted us and offered us a refreshing drink while we waited to check in. We arrived a few hours before official check in, so our room wasn’t quite ready. Our concierge was Jacqueline, who helped us check in and showed us around the grounds. The Beloved staff took our suitcases and stored them while our room was being prepared. Jacqueline gave us helpful information about the property and let us know what we could do while our room was being prepared. First stop was the on-site taco truck. If you’re hungry from traveling, Guadalupe’s tacos will lift your spirits. This was my favorite place to eat in the entire resort. Guadalupe is nice and welcoming. He made us pork tacos that were incredible. I ended up going back to the taco truck every day we were there. After tacos, we walked into the cafe to get a coffee. Simple selection but made fresh and quickly. Cristina, Vincent, and Juan at the cafe made delicious coffee and were very friendly. I know I’ve said that about everyone, but that’s the truth. Everyone we met showed us warm hospitality and kindness. Back to the coffee. My wife and I went back at least twice a day. The cafe also has ice cream and baked goods to select from. Great treats and service. Our room was clean and well furnished. We had access to a small refrigerator that was stoked with water, beer, cocacola, and some snacks. I bet if you message the staff ahead of time they can stock the refrigerator with drinks or snacks of your preference. The room had plenty of towels and toiletries in case you forgot anything at home. The food at the resort is good. Depending on the day or the week or time of day, you’ll have access to a variety of on-site options. The options are Italian, Mexican, Steak House, French, Taco Truck, and Sushi. We preferred the Taco Truck, Mexican, and Steakhouse. During the day, if you’re at a pool or the beach, you’ll have access to a waiter who can help get you food / drinks. We loved the chips and guacamole and fish tacos. Our waiters were Luis, Bonito, and Albert. Those guys were great. Helpful, attentive, and funny. They also made great recommendations for drinks and food items to try. We also did a hydro spa session with Regina. Regina guided us through the various stages, which included sauna and steam sessions, cold plunge, and a variety of relaxing hydro therapies. Regina was personable and very kind during our session. Some things to remember or consider for your stay: It’s all inclusive, but you can still tip. There are no expectations of tipping and the staff doesn’t make it feel required at all. Quite the opposite. They treat everyone with respect and kindness. But I still encourage tipping. It didn’t cost me much more than I was already paying, and I believe it made my stay noticeably better. There are plenty of videos online for when to tip and how much. Bring plenty of small bills or the bar staff can help you break larger bills. This is a quieter resort than a lot of other adult only Cancun resorts. Things are pretty quiet after 9pm most nights. However, if you like to go to bed early, do not stay in building 1. The courtyard for outdoor music at night sits directly next to building 1. My wife and I were on the second floor and could hear the nightly music in our room very clearly. Not a terrible thing, just something to consider if you like early evenings. Bring your own sunscreen, aloe, bronzer, etc. The beach concierge has these available, but they don’t open until 10am and close around 5. You can buy sunscreen or bronzer in the resort store, but it’s very expensive. If you like keeping drinks cold, bring your own Yeti style tumbler. The resort does sell these, but once again, at a premium. My wife and I won’t be staying at any other all-inclusive in the Cancun area. Beloved Playa Mujeres has won our business through incredible service, delicious food and drink, and the best people. Thanks!

Check-in & check-out was very easy. While at the resort some of the staff we would like to mention are Mex who handled our luggage and answered any questions we had. Guadalupe at the taco truck was outstanding! Vanessa who brought our drinks while at the taco truck was very sweet and friendly. this is a must visit while at this resort. While at the swim-up pool, Elvis gave exceptional service taking care of our every need. Seasons Transfer to get us to and from the resort from the airport are great as well.
