“Great hotel and location”

Lovely hotel - great breakfast. Didn’t feel crowded. Our little girl loved the shallow areas of the pool. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was a great size. Easy walking distance to the beach/main strip with many restaurants and shops.

We have stayed in many small hotels in Playa Del Carmen. This year we spent 7 nights at HM. We had an excellent stay! Our room was facing Constituyentes Ave. We thought it may be very noisy, but we felt it wasn't bad and we always pack a sound machine, just in case! The entire hotel was very clean. They now have an elevator!! You would never know that it wasn't always there, It looks and works great ! We had the breakfast package. It definitely gave us a good start of our day. Servers Leo, Beto, Fabian & Gabriel were very kind and we not only saw them at breakfast, but at the bar and restaurant on property. Front desk staff was always smiling and ready to help their guests. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying with them again! Julie & Art Brandt

My friend and I recently stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Our room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Prior to our departure, we emailed them to ask for a room at the back of the building to avoid the street noise. Breakfast was included with our package. There is a selection of fruit juices and agua refrescas, fruit, yogurt, granola, breads, cheese, meat, hot dishes and an omelet bar. The coffee was hit or miss but the staff always kept your cup full. You can also order smoothies with the wait staff. The pool is gorgeous with lots of chairs and lounge beds, and both shade and full sun to choose from. Everything we ordered from the pool bar was very good and reasonably priced. Shout out to the bar & restaurant staff who were very kind and came to quickly know our drink orders. Of all the staff, they also seemed to be the most fluent in English and were super helpful. We always felt very safe, both at the hotel and walking around Playa (and we walked everywhere, from the tourist strip to residential areas across the main highway). A few tips: you can only exchange your pool towel on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. Pay your tab each night before the pool closes (we had assumed our first night that we’d pay it when we checked out). Some great restaurants nearby: Taco MX, El Chuleton, Po Thai, Caruso Hostaria Pizzeria, food trucks at Gourmet Park. For fellow Canadian travellers, there is a Scotiabank across the street so no need to take money out at the airport.

The swimming pool is rather nice and the htoel is centrally located, without suffering too much of the noisy Playa del Carmed nights. Breakfast is great. The swimming pool is rather nice and the htoel is centrally located, without suffering too much of the noisy Playa del Carmed nights. Breakfast is great. Depending on the period you book the price is clearly overrated compared to similar hotels and offers. The beach is much further away than what is indicated in their leaflet; at least 650 meters.
