Yes, guests at Hotel Kinbe have highlighted that: So I booked a stay here because it looked like a really cool and chill hotel to stay at for one night. Very hip lobby. Check in was long. Felt like I was buying a car. So many rules and things to sign. I get it, they have to cover their rear end. Our room was on the second floor. Only stairs. No big deal. But the stairs themselves are covered with a copper or other metal material. So when you go up or down they are very noisy. Doesn’t matter how much you try to be quiet they are loud. So when other guest come in late at night it’s very loud. Not their fault, but that’s how it is. And there are three levels. The room was quaint and clean. Takes a long time, and I mean way more than average to get hot water. After about 5 or 6 minutes the water got warm and then a little hotter after that. So I’m not a hotel snob, and I know the smaller hotels in Playa all have their quirky things. I have no problem with that. But when we checked out they had to inspect the room. The front desk rep called housekeeping and asked them to check the room. Everything was fine but they said my wife got makeup on the pillow case she used. They said we would have to pay for the pillow case. Lol! The pillow cases are white so my wife asked them if they use bleach when they wash the laundry. No response. We left. So guest beware. Great location and the bed was comfortable. Oh, they have an honor bar kind of. So be aware. So my rating is middle of the road. Just keep these things in mind.

“Not Good - Not Bad”
