“Nice clean hotel, near the beach at a good price”

I booked this hotel as I found other some others I was interested in had too many bad reviews esp about cleanliness and loud music. This hotel matched the reviews I read. Overall the hotel seems clean and maintained daily. Staff are friendly and helpful enough. I did appreciate the door staff opening the door and greeting us fairwell after we checked out. Checking in was easy enough, however do be prepared for the compulsory city tax. They have 2 Lifts to all all floors, a bar area, prayer area, outdoor seating, restaurant, gym, pool, pool seating, spa, hammam etc... We tried their buffet dinner on the first night as we wanted to chill and rest. The price was about £9 per person. The choices were limited however there were several items that I liked, they had turkey curry, flat meat kebabs, chicken nuggets, and few other items. The salad I found was a bit stale. Its not bad and seeing that you can eat as much as you want makes it a good option if you dont want to venture out and happy to pay £9 for it. When I saw the room, my initial impression was 'ok this is pretty cool'. I was expecting something more run down and worn out. However it was pretty modern, very clean and had everything they advertised. It had a seperate toilet room, which I think is a great idea, but the only problem is that after you use the loo and someone is using the shower what do you do? Also there is no bidet or water tap in the toilet... which is strange in a muslim country... The shower is hot, spacious and clean. They give you soap and shower gel. The AC works ok and has a control panel, however on the first night it was boiling, after that I figured out how to use it better and it was ok. It had a fridge which was handy, but no kettle or tea making facilities. The TV was decent, however it took a fair bit of time trying to figure out how to use it as it had two remotes and you had to switch to HDMI 1 and then wait a bit for it to start... The bed was ok, it was a hard mattress, but tbh I was unable to get a good night sleep most nights and woke up with a mild backache. The view was great....mountain view, pool view, garden view and sea view combined into one. The gym was small but had a choice of machines. The pool was ok but i dont understand why the deep end is in the middle of the pool, which left me a bit confused. Breakfast was ok however I felt like we could only have the same thing everyday, which was omelette, pancakes, orange juice and coffee. The omelettes were well made so no complaints, but would have been good to have ready made scrambled eggs and some continental options available. I felt as though the savoury dishes were more suitable for lunch time. The mint tea was nice. You also get cereal, cheese and salad. We were offered excursions on the first evening, and some prices were pretty good so we booked something the next day. The beach, cable car and takeways and nice walking distance away and there is a handy shop nearby for drinks etc.. Overall its a nice clean hotel, near the beach at a good price.

“Budget Hotel in Good Location ”

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Tildi. Spacious comfortable rooms but a little dated. The pool area is very nice with lots of sun loungers. “Good Experience”

This is a nice 3 star hotel well worth the money. We had a quiet room overlooking the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi and A/C worked well. This is a nice 3 star hotel well worth the money. We had a quiet room overlooking the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi and A/C worked well. The staff are all nice and helpful and the pool area very good. Easy walk to sea front. Do not get a room overlooking the road at the front because of the noisy traffic. Overall a very pleased stay at a reasonable price. We will be back in October.
