When I read the reviews on this hotel I wanted to cancel , but we went along and had one of the best holidays we have ever had . Yes the hotel is dated but that's all it's guilty of . When I read the reviews on this hotel I wanted to cancel , but we went along and had one of the best holidays we have ever had . Yes the hotel is dated but that's all it's guilty of . It is spotless the bed linen was Snow White and rooms impeccably clean . Breakfast was really good massive choice . The only down was the man in charge of the pool he was aggressive and quite intimidating . We will be returning for sure . Please don't listen to bad reviews as they simply not true

“Alful start to a holiday”

After an hour trying to checj in we wer given are key to the apartment it was across from the hotel we had 2cases handluggage a baby and a stroller to are 2nd floor apartment no lifts in the building nitemare got into apartment no cot as promised floors stained and dirty kitchen area was al rusty... more

After an hour trying to checj in we wer given are key to the apartment it was across from the hotel we had 2cases handluggage a baby and a stroller to are 2nd floor apartment no lifts in the building nitemare got into apartment no cot as promised floors stained and dirty kitchen area was al rusty the bathroom was dirty the place was disgusting. After an argument with very rude staff we got booked into hotel this was not a huge benefit to us but we couldnt stay in apartment room was nice big dated but ok clearners came every day although not alot of cleaning done now the hotel gave us a fridge free of charge I personally thing they should of give us b&b at least as we wanted 2cook etc for the baby bad experience wouldnt stay here again but hotel is in a good location and the pool area is ok thats about all

Overall the group I was in had a brilliant time in Albufuria. The clube 99 apartments were perfectly adequate for the price we paid. They were very spacious, cleaned well every day with good kitchen facilities. When we first arrived we were quite dissapointed to discover there was no pool at the apartments and that we had to go across to the hotel to use the pool there, this was a slight problem for us as one of the people in our group is in a wheel chair and we had booked the apartments under the illusion they had a seperate pool. They would seriously need to update their info online as we read on numerous sites about the pool at the apartments!! We had a walk around looking for the pool and found a filled in area that looked like it might have been a pool years ago! Another thing that is misleading when booking online Is the gym and tennis facilities. They aren't part of the hotel, they're just beside it and offer discount rates to people stating in the hotel and apartments, but it's still quite expensive. The staff at the Hotel were overall really nice. There was one gentleman in particular who was so helpful. I can't remember his name but he had red hair and was only new but went out of his way giving instructions and directions etc., The pool at the hotel was great and had loads of beds around it. The hotel also offered a free bus to the beach and old town a few times a day which was brilliant. If you are staying here I'd highly reccomend going to the old town. The Strip is good but it's kinda got a strange feel to it. It's like you can imagine how lively and busy it might have been in the boom years and now it seems a bit depressing and tacky with too many neon lights!(however there are some lovely restaurants too) Old town on the other hand was busy and lively. It was lovely to stroll around, the buildings are beautiful and the beach there is fab. Tip: if you dont get the last bus out of old town expect to be waiting at least an hour for a taxi. The queues are crazy. Overall we had a great time.
