The prior reviews are quite old, so we couldn't count on TripAdvisor reviews for Dunas Park Beach Club. The reception staff (including Tania) were absolutely delightful and very helpful. The apt itself was a one bedroom on the ground floor. It was quite spacious for the two of us and had a patio/sitting area out back looking out on the garden. The WiFi signal was good, the TV only had one English Channel (news). Never-ending hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen was nicely stocked - even w sponge and dish soap! All 3 floors of the apt can use the rooftop terrace, which allows you to see the sunset - or just walk to the cliffs/beach trail. We didn't use the nice pool (free) or other (paid) amenities like mini-golf, tennis, etc. We really enjoyed the location and the apt!

Stayed here in 2005. Check in was ok. Room was ok with a kitchenette. Some cultery within the drawers needed clean, we didn't use them, Bought plastic forks from local shop. Stayed here in 2005. Check in was ok. Room was ok with a kitchenette. Some cultery within the drawers needed clean, we didn't use them, Bought plastic forks from local shop. The pool area is lovely, although very busy in the evenings, i think they allow locals to use the pool, hard to find an empty sun lounger. The hotel is pretty much located next to the beach, which was nice if you wanted a change from the noise of the pool area. We didn't eat at the hotel, either ate out or made our own food in room. Manta Rota is a very very quiet area in the algarve. Manta Rota is also a very small, quiet area. Not much to do. We spent most of our time further up the road in Monte Gordio, it's more liver with better selection of restaurants to choose from. Manta Rota is fine if your looking to sit and read a book all week. It was not the place that was sold to us, we were in mid tewnties, averge age was about 60 years!
