I'm currently at the Terralta heading home on Weds 17th April. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are amazingly helpful & friendly. We stayed half board & have no complaints about the food, yes it can be pretty same same some days but the food is hot & plentiful with a well stocked fresh salad bar. The outdoor pool is clean & spacious. Not much entertainment but that didn't phase up. Slightly up hill which may be a struggle for the elder holiday maker, although reception are speedy to book you a cab into town, alternatively hire a mobility scooter. I'd definitely recommend this hotel & have enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant stay.

From the friendly welcome at check in to the initial impression of our room, Terralta has everything you need for your Benidorm holiday. We were checking in immediately and offered free Wifi codes for as many devices as we wanted. The Wifi was ok, but 5G signal was good throughout the resort, just check your roaming charges! Room was very clean and had everything we needed, from pots and pans to a fridge and freezer. The onsite shop is very well priced compared to usual on site shops and has everything you could need. Every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming. Just a couple of issues, the location. Its in a wonderfully quite part of town on the outskirts of the central area but it is up the hill. An easy walk down, 10-20 minutes but it's quite a walk up if you're not a walker or have limited mobility. A taxi was 5.20 euros up during the day or 7.50 euros at night. Our patio door would not lock and could be easily slid open from the outside. Being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. We asked immediately for it to be repaired and followed this up the following day but it was never rectified. We took our passports out with us when we were there and as we only had 3 nights it was not worth us pushing for a change or repair, but if you need anything fixed you will have to keep on at them to do it. Fix the door and it would have been 5 stars from me. 100% we would go back to Terralta, it was ideal for us.

I’ll start by saying, I had looked at the reviews after booking (my mistake!) and was starting to feel a little nervous about what we were going to find! I needn’t have worried! The reception staff and check in was smooth, no deposit needed, free wifi passcodes. The room was spacious and very clean! All of the usual self catering hotspots (the outside of stainless steel pans, tea stains on cups etc) were all spotless! Everything you could need was provided, even down to tea towels and table cloth. Full size fridge and reasonable sized freezer were included. Plenty of towels provided, but there is no maid service (in our three nights) but it wasn’t expected in self catering. The shower was very good, rainfall and always hot! Bathroom again, very clean. Air conditioning is only provided according to the jet2 website, June to September. Luckily we didn’t need it, as it wasn’t too hot. This isn’t mentioned on easyJet website though, or not that I saw! The shop had everything you could need, and was reasonably priced. Again, no problem with staff, as has been repeatedly mentioned in reviews. The bar and dining room looked clean and popular, but I can’t give a fair review, as we didn’t use them. The pool looked very clean, and the whole area surrounding it, but we didn’t personally use it again. All communal areas and receptions were clean, and there was a security guard overnight. Whole hotel felt safe and secure. Just one issue that is making me rate 4 instead of 5, and that was because the patio door on our ground floor room wouldn’t lock, and would be easily slid open from the outside. We did ask twice at reception, but as we were only stopping 3 nights, we didn’t chase it up too hard. We just took our valuables with us. Safes are provided in the rooms, but at a cost (I don’t know how much, didn’t ask!) The hotel is located in a quiet part of town, but is a fair walk (18 minutes down at a medium pace) walking up takes longer, as the first part of the road is quite a steep hill. Taxi from old town in the day is less than €6 and less than €7 at night. All taxis are metered and very safe and easy to identify. Overall a really good base for a trip to Benidorm, especially if you aren’t interested in “the strip” as old town has a lovely relaxed vibe, with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. I would definitely visit again!

“A great last minute find - a little too far away tho”

The hotel was lovely and breakfast good (€7 buffet breakfast) the rooms didn’t get cleaned and no fresh towels, so helped ourselves from the trolley. Room a bit grubby and lots of fluff under beds - ideal for what we needed tho. A long way from centre of Benidorm. Bus outside hotel €1.60. Taxi €8
