I was very happy with the apartment it was in a great location spacious very clean a huge balcony I have been to the Hotel before so I thought I’d give the apartments a try glad I did the only drawback the beds could be better but overall it’s very good value and as mentioned the staff are really great and work very efficiently. the food has a very good selection at all meals. I must give a special mention to Lucien on the hotel reception who did go the extra mile he’s an asset to the Hotel was a great help when I took sick and needed to find a doctor a very nice man indeed I will definitely be back .

“Decent place to stay”

Great location, rooms are good very spacious. The view in ours was poor but if you are in one that overlooks the street that would be a lot better. “A Good Quiet place to Stay.”

The Avenida Apartnents are perfectly situated in Benidorm’s old town. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful both those on reception and those on the cleaning staff. Although the apartments are basic and could benefit from a touch up they are sufficient for a good stay in Benidorm. They are spotlessly clean and the towels are changed regularly. All in all a good place to stay of your don’t want to be too near the huddle and buddies of the busy resort.

I have thought deeply about this review, but hope its helpful to others. The positives and there are a few are that the staff are amazingly friendly, especially the cleaning staff who cannot help you enough. We went half board with my elderly father in law. YOu are able to use all the facilities in the Avenida Hotel, we went half board and the food was really good. Excellent selection and could always find something nice to eat. Again staff are amazing here too. The drop off is a about a 8 - 10 minute walk away from the apartments. My dad in law is 85 with a few mobility problems, but he did not struggle too much with the walk until we reached the entrance with steps up and suitcases. The good news is there is another entrance a shop called the RKS, its a shoe shop and if you go in there and turn right you will see a corridor with a door at end, this is the entrance you will need to use if in a wheelchair or have small children in buggies, or just want to avoid the steps. We stayed in room 316. The room was clean but as many have said dated, we did not have a good view unfortunately, but this did not bother us too much as we were out a lot, but might others as its an internal view. There is no hairdryer, but I had read that prior so no worries brought my own. What I did not anticipate was the deposit which I had been aware of but they only accept cash, in other establishments they have took a holding fee on the card, but its cash only and £100 or 100 Euro, so our spending money was compromised, again we worked around this, lost a few euro using a cashpoint. The biggest thing for us was lack of plugs in the apartment, for charging capacity etc. We managed but in the bedroom there was only one, in the front room, 2 if you include the TV and in the kitchen 2 one of which is the kettle. The toaster is a very old fashioned one but does do the trick it looks like a wall heater but its not. Beds comfy. You do have limited hot water so think twice before having an occasional bath, not an issue with two of us who only had showers after that. Also in our room the pressure of the hot water was so low the showers were very cool for me as I enjoy a hot shower. Personally we would not go there again, but that is mainly because we prefer new town, but is influenced by the issues we experienced too. Cannot fault any of the staff they work very hard, and I wish because of them my experience could be more positive.
