As in the title, you need to ignore the negative reviews by people who clearly expect 5 star in a Spanish Apartment. This place is ideally situated in the "Triangle" part of Benidorm which is absolutely spot on if you have kids because you're 2 minutes from an awesome family oriented bar with entertainment for the kids. You're less than half a mile from the beach, we could see it from our second floor apartment. You're half a mile from Neptune's and all the clubs and pubs up that way. You've got McDonalds, Subway and Burger King on the walk to the beach, a friendly and good valued Italian restaurant next doors and plenty of supermarkets around. The noise is almost none existent. You're in the wrong part of Benidorm for anything other than mopeds and locals going about their daily lives. The pool is very relaxing and the residents are very friendly. There's a little cafe next to the pool where the kids can go grab a drink and you can have a few beers. The apartment itself is perfect. It was clean, had plenty of bedding and towels, and it easily slept 5 of us with 2 kids in one room and the other 2 in another whilst I slept on the balcony that has been converted into a room which means no messing around with the sofa bed, which is there if you need it. Theres a kitchen with cups, plates etc, microwave, kettle and outdoors laundry/drying facilities (its a hand wash not a machine). I'm yet to find any damage or dirt in this place and I'd easily give it an additional star. One major setback, which isn't the apartments fault. We booked with onthebeach and their site states the keys need collecting from Alpha Apartments, which is miles away especially when I got here at midnight with 4 kids under 8 and is pricey with local taxis. The sign on the door sends you to Fingus which is on the beach front but thats obviously closed. In the end, I found the place that had the keys and it's a 5 minute walk, they didn't take our passports nor try to take more than the €150.
