Location was excellent for our days out to Moriara calpe and Altea. Nicole the Manager was lovely very friendly serving us Breakfast in the beautiful garden and helping us with anything. We forgot beach towels and she was very happy to help us with 2. Cleanliness was to the highest standard and at this current time with Covid 19 it reassured us and made us feel very safe. We ate at the Italian next door which was great and Guru a local Indian which was a pleasant 7 mins walk away. Both very good. Would highly recommend this hotel. Definitely not a one Star we stayed in a 4 stars the day after and was not near the standard and hygiene of the Montemar. Will definitely return 😃

having literally returned from this place 4 days ago, i would dearly turn round and go back. the hotel was spotless with immaculate landscaped gardens to match. the small fish pond and water feature at the back is a lovely place to sit and relax and you can choose to sit outside and eat breakfast under the bourgainvillia covered pagoda. beautiful. the room was quite spacious with ample room to hang clothes plus ample drawer space. there is no tea/coffee facilities but if you ask for a kettle one will be provided for you so do take your own coffee etc if you fancy a cuppa before bed. we had a ground floor room which was lovely, we were able to sit outside at night on our covered balcony which we shared with the sweetest little ghekkos. the pool was a lovely size with plenty of seating but one morning we couldnt stop laughing as somebody had put 2 towels on the sunbeds. so cliche, so hilarious especially as there were roughly around 10 -12 people staying here and nobody was really using the pool especially in the morning. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with a great choice although it was continental. Nicole the manager was constantly refreshing the cold platter and there was a lovely selection of fresh fruit. The only thing i would say is that both my friend and i found the beds to be quite hard so it wasnt a comfortable nights sleep. Thank god for the A/C as it was rather warm at night. There is a private car park but this seems to be shared by the people visiting the italian restaurant next door so we did struggle with parking at night time. Overall, we had a great stay with a fantastic and most accommodating host and i would highly recommend a stay here to anyone. You will definatley need a car as the hotel is located in the hills.

“Away from the crowds”

This hotel is more like a guesthouse/B&B. Jeanette is very friendly and welcoming. Most rooms have good balconies overlooking the pool. Our room was simple but functional. This hotel is more like a guesthouse/B&B. Jeanette is very friendly and welcoming. Most rooms have good balconies overlooking the pool. Our room was simple but functional. The bathroom could maybe do with a bit of maintenance. Breakfast was a continental buffet, which can be eaten in the nice little garden. The hotel is in a pretty residential neighborhood with quiet winding streets. There are a few restaurants in easy walking distance as well as the Italian restaurant next door. Also Within walking distance are 2 rocky coves, 1 with a few seats to sit and take in the views and a restaurant. The other down a long flight of concrete steps is good for swimming.
