My wife and I booked All Inclusive and stayed for 7 nights from 08 to 15 Oct 2023. The hotel is really nice, in a good location although nothing much going on immediately outside of the hotel. However there is a long promenade you can walk along around 3miles each direction. It has large grounds around it with salt water pools, great area especially if you have children, large safe environment, with life guards. Plenty of sun loungers, the pool snack bars served all types of drinks including crisps, snacks, ice creams included. We paid extra when booking for a sea view balcony room, our room was on the 5th floor, it was large with great views. For the room safe you have to pay 12 euro (plus 20 euro deposit), and 10 euro deposit to hire beach towels. The beach is on its backdoor, easy to access from the hotel gardens, it’s not sandy, has very small stones, immaculate. Main restaurant had a good variety of food every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner it also had a live cooking station with specials of the day options depending on time of day. The staff serve you tea /coffee / alcohol / soft drinks etc. at your table. Mediterranean restaurant served snacks and lunch, you need to reserve a table and pay for evening meals. Carlos Italian restaurant served snacks and lunch, closed in the evening. They have an Asia restaurant it was closed during our stay. We booked All Inclusive and had black wrist band and felt no need to upgrade to All Inclusive Plus orange wrist band for top shelf alcohol etc. Entertainment was mainly in Spanish, we liked it, remember you are in Spain! Lots of Spanish tourist, no problem at all for us, what are they not allowed to holiday in Spain! All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful some having limited English but it was much better than our knowledge of Spanish and no problems for us. We were the last tourist to leave the hotel at around 17.30 on Sun 15 Oct. It was closing straight after we left, but they continued to serve food and drink until 16.00 which was fine by us. If you want a holiday to relax, eat, drink and not do much else then this hotel is ideal.

“Relaxing”

Food was varied but steaks and anything from the hot grill was spot on Entertainment was mainly Spanish but some songs were in English Caught the bus twice for the Grand plaza and market As we aren't walkers the hotel was not close to anything The TV was mostly Spanish BUT asked at reception and they put 2 English news channels on for us.. Pools where good with the slides(noisy) and calm by the stage And lastly was told could only order 3 drinks at a time otherwise get reduced to half board..The bar staff cannot know this as trays of drinks was commonplace

Before I start I would just like to mention that the hotel itself was really nice and the pools were amazing. I like how it’s private and cut off from the beach but also that it’s really easy access if you decide you want to go to the beach as well . Only downfall about the beach is that it’s not proper sand it’s stones which we didn’t mind and I love that there are showers to just wash yourself off from the stones and pebbles. When we first arrived we had to check in to which there must of been about 20-30 family’s checking in with only 3 staff on the desk. After a good 20-30 minute wait as we was last to get our luggage, we finally reached the desk to which all we got was hand over our passports, she then scanned them, gave them back and then finally gave us a piece of paper with information about the hotel and our room key with the number and sent us on our way without giving us a chance to ask a question of what floor our room was on and she just walked round into the back room. Other staff members were busy and we couldn’t even ask them. We got to the lift and had to ask a cleaner to which she didn’t even barely speak a word of English we just pointed to the room Number and she said the 5th floor. The room was spacious for 2 people as we did pay extra for a bigger room but no water was given to us in the room and if we wanted some we would have to find our own from the shop down the road. No staff speak English at all, we totally understand we went to a Spanish country but seeing as TUI recommended this place and reviews looked okay we thought it would be fine especially for two people who don’t really know much Spanish only thank you and please and hello and goodbye. The basics. But even when we tried to understand staff were so so rude. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable from the looks staff would give us and other family for even speaking English or trying to speak Spanish. I think this resort should be taken off the TUI website or labelled a Spanish resort. Even other guests who were Spanish was rude. The food was absolutely disgraceful, barely anything for us to eat bar chips and crappy burgers that tasted disgusting only good thing was bread and breakfast in the morning but dinner time we struggled a lot it was all fish fish every night and we hate fish nothing at all inclusive seeing as it’s labelled a buffet that’s international. Even the pizza had tuna on it. Luckily we found an app to order McDonalds on and dominos because otherwise we wouldn’t have ate anything. Even if we tried to complain to staff they didn’t understand a word not even the manager which is appalling. I have been to many all inclusive hotels and this is the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life and I wish I could get the money back for what we paid seeing as we didn’t even eat any of the food they had to offer. I would come back to the town as it was lovely just not that resort. Few other things was that we would have to pay extra £140 for the week which isn’t on the tui website and we wasn’t even told when we got there so we thought we could eat at this Italian Mediterranean and Asian restaurant but no only in the daytime and the Asian restaurant was closed and so did the Italian place. The sister hotel had a club in it and an indoor pool to which half way through our holiday the hotel had closed so we couldn’t even experience that. All of the entertainment was in Spanish even though there was plenty of English children around. There is way more I could complain about but it would just be getting too deep about it. I just believe this should be taken off tui or labelled a Spanish resort. Luckily me and my partner did enjoy ourselves by the pool or at night having a drink. We even loved walking along the beach at night and visiting the towns. The grand plaza was great too only a 5 minute drive to which we got a taxi for 5 euro. And they had lots of shops like a big supermarket were you could buy small foods to snack on in the day and suncream which wasn’t expensive like the small shops around the hotel. They had a primark, zara, Pandora lots of other clothing shops. Also a Taco Bell, kfc, McDonald’s and Burger King etc. definitely wouldn’t recommend and definitely will not be returning. I wouldn’t even label this as 4 star maybe 2 and a half.
