Great Location, Staff very pleasant considering the shortage of them ! Rooms were clean , very easy going hotel, probably best going half board as we were all inclusive and felt you got more for your money on Half board. Biggest problem is a system they have at the bar, where when you order anything it had to be found on a little hand held tablet then your wrist band had to be scanned which was causing very long queues the staff were put under a lot of pressure , how they kept their cool I dont know as they must have heard people moaning about it all the time. Shame, its a nice hotel.

“Pleasant stay”

Just returned from a week st this hotel. We are both in our late 70’s and were looking for some warmth! Enjoyed our week. Pleasant room, very attractive public areas and the food was reasonable. The position of the hotel was next to the marina and also near a bus top for travel around the area.... more

Just returned from a week st this hotel. We are both in our late 70’s and were looking for some warmth! Enjoyed our week. Pleasant room, very attractive public areas and the food was reasonable. The position of the hotel was next to the marina and also near a bus top for travel around the area. The holiday was very reasonably priced but thought that having to pay for towels for swimming and a charge to use the room safe, didn't reflect a 4 star hotel!

Currently staying in hotel palmasol on level 5 with sea and pool view, staff are great food is lovely, its in a prime location and im all inclusive. Bar is open from 11 till 12 but with mainly just 1 person serving the cues have been very long (hire more staff) the entertainment has been terrible im afraid the girls that put the entertainment on are great but with not much recourses i think they could be helped out more by management at the least have music on a little bit more and mabe do more karaoke as that seemed to give everyone no matter what nationality a lift on the plus side they put the football on which for myself has been brilliant all in all i would come back as the staff make the hotel 5* from housekeepers to bar staff

Just back from a weeks stay on the all inclusive package. The hotel is very clean and the food is good especially the breakfast, and in great position near marina. You have wrist bands whatever package on as this opens room door, but unfortunately you have to use it to order drinks which can take up to 30mins as you need to queue because swiping everyones orders and entering it into a small tablet takes time you also need to be swiped into meals which also causes queues there must be a better way, i felt sorry for the staff who all looked fed up with this new system. The room was fine we had a sea view, there was only 2 pillows but i requested an extra one which was delivered immediately. There is no kettle for tea or coffee which is normally standard for 4star you can hire one for 2.50 euros a day, cheaper to buy one up the road. No pool towels again your can hire them for 3.95 per day! again standard in most 4 star. The pool looked nice but very cold first time I've never been in, also the beds were about 6ins apart far to close for comfort, they should have used more of the grass area and spaced them out. The music played around the pool was ok but at times there was alot of swearing and sex in the songs not appropiate for children, of which there where a few. Didnt stay in at night as the queueing for drinks was bad. I think the managment need to wake up and either change this new wrist band situation or get more staff to cope with it, hotel is very understaffed. All in all disappointing stay, staff were amazing considerating the pressure they are under, and no I wouldn't recommend staying here especially all inclusive. Because of the above i would only say this is a sandard 3 star.
