This was a short break with friends and we had 3 rooms on the 6th floor. The rooms were lovely, very clean with simple but very nice furniture (as shown in the hotels photo). The view from the balcony was wonderful and the sound of the sea was a soothing backdrop to fall asleep to! We had several nights having a nightcap & laughs on the balcony after returning from our evening meal. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful when we needed to ask any questions. We did not eat in the hotel but I can testify that they make a very good cup of tea! Only 3 negative comments and 2 were relatively minor. My shower appeared not to have hot water but it transpired that the controls were back to front, so hopefully a notice to this effect will be put into the room. The second comment relates to the lift that did not work on the morning we left. We were grateful that we had to walk down and not up the staircase with our suitcases. The third negative relates to something out of the hotels control. New water pipes are being installed along the promenade between the hotel and beach. This means that most of the beach side restaurants are not open so allow for this when going out for something to eat. Rincon is a great place to explore, not at all touristy and the market is worth a visit.

Booked a trip with friends, returning yesterday. Staff were very pleasant but the rooms we were allocated varied massively. Friends were on 6th floor and we were on 4th floor (401). It was like we were staying in different hotels. Our room was very, very shabby. Air conditioning unit leaked so much that one side table was flooded with water unless we put a bin underneath. There was a space that should have had a fridge but it was just a mouldy empty cupboard. Bathroom was tiny with a cheap plastic wall mounted hair dryer that was useless. Toilet made trickling noise all night. Very old rickety wooden chair that we had to put outside of room otherwise we would have tripped over it because room was so small. Had we not been with friends we would have moved hotels. I would say the difference in room quality is circa 1970's Butlins and 6th floor present day Premier Inn. We were on 3 night mini "moon" after getting married. We asked to change rooms but they said they were full. All that said staff were pleasant when approached but couldn't do anything. This end of the resort is undergoing renovation. It is a mainly Spanish holiday resort which was refreshing. Very little English spoken in bars and restaurants which led to a few meal surprises. Breakfast was adequate but repetitive and restaurant area was hot and stuffy. We tried eating outside but were told not too which was a shame. Coffee machine queue very tedious so gave up. Best bit was the beach bar opposite the hotel. Comfy sun beds, music and table service for 15 euros a day, one free cocktail included. Would consider trying again for a long weekend in couple of years when all rooms have been completely renovated and the promenade works have finished.

Hotel is worth what you pay & staff very accommodating. Continental breakfast included was awful really cheap food. Reason writing the review is more about the area not only this hotel all in the area they are doing major under ground pipe work so the majority of the length of the pro are is rubble and double fencing so you can see the sea and hardly any restaurants open (assume more now as we are coming to Easter) but who would visit a sea front restaurant that the tables are covered in dust & if in the day the few work men will be attempting to fix a big problem and what is the point of sitting in a sea view restaurant when you can’t see the sea (NOTE this applies to all restaurants along this strip !!! Don’t go)
