“Great experience, relaxing hassle free holiday”

We have just spent 2 weeks at the hotel for Easter, with 2 children and all had a wonderful time. The hotel is modern and well laid out. We had 2 connecting rooms on the ground floor that each opened to a small terrance and the garden, with the pool beyond. The rooms are an excellent size with huge beds and a relaxation area with a sofa and armchair. From checking in and all the way through the holiday all the staff were lovely, and we felt like valued guests. There was complimentary wine and water in the rooms when we arrived. The spa was excellent and very well equipped including hot tub, sauna, steam room, ice plunge pool etc, etc, and was available for families to use from 11am - 1pm, and from then on, adults only. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a huge range of hot & cold food, pasties, fruit. Eggs were made to order, and every day our kids ate their own weight in Churros! Evening meal was also a buffet, again with a huge range of options, and 3 choices of meat and 3 of fish could be cooked to order alongside pasta, various roast dishes etc. We sayed half-board and sometimes ate in the hotel or at one of the many restaurants outside the hotel. Drinks at the hotel were very reasonably priced. The outdoor pool was heated with 2 smaller pools for kids with a lifeguard on duty during the day. Other things to do at the hotel include free mini golf, tennis (3 synthetic courts), pool and table tennis. Equipment is available at reception. In the evening, there was entertainment every night, which was mostly live music of one type or another - usual holiday fare! The bar area was spacious with loads of sofas and a number of card tables. The beach is just across the road and is beautiful and not at all busy. The waves to the left can be pretty lage - great for wave jumping, but not for little ones, but for much calmer water, just turn right and walk 5 minutes of so down the beach. Sunbeds with an umbrella are available all along the beach for 15 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella for the day. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in a hotel with good food and great facilities, with staff that look after you, at a good value, then I would have no hesitation in recommending the Mur Hotel

It has consistently provided excellent stays over the last few years. Jandia itself is a quiet resort & the hotel follows this with a quiet laid back atmosphere. No noisy daytime poolside activities with blaring music and activity teams here. Nightly evening entertainment here too is on the quieter side, with the excellent bands stopping by 11pm. ( The saxophonist from the hotel management team is a real star). We opt for the all in package and are always well satisfied with it. The drinks are of high quality and branded labels. Bar service, as everywhere throughout the hotel is top notch. Breakfast is the usual international buffet style plus a fry up counter. Lunch is high quality and great value. Evenings are international style buffet with a choice of 3 show cooked meats or 3 show cooked fish every night. There is also a nightly roast. Only comment here, would be the same cheese option of sliced up cheeses that were very similar got rather tedious every night. The staff, mainly more mature ladies, exude an enjoyment in their work. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The sunbed reservation game simply isn't tolerated here. Sunbeds are aplenty, so that annoying stress of the sunbed mania doesn't occur here. For the active there are tennis courts which are popular. Mini golf and table tennis are available too. The pleasant spa area is well worth a visit.

On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
