“Great holiday”

Just returned from a week here with family. We had a great time and our 5 and 6 year old grandkids absolutely loved it. Room are spacious, clean and beds comfy. Just returned from a week here with family. We had a great time and our 5 and 6 year old grandkids absolutely loved it. Room are spacious, clean and beds comfy. Kids entertainment was great but the adult entertainment was a bit hit and miss. The pools, splash park and other amenities were great and never an issue getting sunbeds for 6. Staff very friendly and work hard. Good variety of food, though at times some of it wasn't at hot as it should be and there were quite a few dirty plates and dishes. All in all had a fantastic time and would go back again

“This could be 5 star with just some tweaks”

We are here at the moment and the hotel is wonderful . Fantastic size with lovely features . Very warm and inviting . Our rooms are fab as we have an interconnecting room with our daughters who absolutely love the hotel itself. I’m sad to only give it an average review but unfortunately. Food is plenty of but warm at best and sometimes cold. Extremely noisy at meal times ( most plates have chips in them due to being thrown around by staff ) also now sawing from early morning as they are doing something in the main restaurant. Smoking by the family pool ? I just can’t get over this . The hotel is up a hill which is steep so not appropriate for some people but Ona good note taxi’s are only 5 euros to town or back from town . Housekeeping later the duvet on all our beds and just put the sheet over the top 😂 We had to make our own bed ( we’ll just put the actual duvet into its cover ) .

Would definitely recommend for the price. Had a lovely week overall. We did all inclusive plus. Was worth it because you can go to the smaller, table service restaurant upstairs for breakfast and dinner which has all the same food as the buffet restaurant. Would definitely recommend for the price. Had a lovely week overall. We did all inclusive plus. Was worth it because you can go to the smaller, table service restaurant upstairs for breakfast and dinner which has all the same food as the buffet restaurant. Breakfast up there was amazing, poach eggs etc cooked to order with buffet full English and full continental spread. Dinner wasn’t so good as not as much choice as downstairs, same dishes on the menu that are brought to you but no vegetables etc. Was worth doing all inclusive plus for premium drinks and times, free entry to spa, stocked minibar in room, separate area in buffet restaurant with table service for drinks, separate restaurant for breakfast+dinner table service and pool towels provided. Hotel was so clean , room cleaned daily and all areas immaculate. Staff were so friendly and helpful but mainly the restaurant, bar and entertainment staff. We had mixed experiences with reception staff. Pros - great service, staff are lovely and helpful - Cleanliness, it’s immaculate and staff always seen cleaning / sweeping / mopping all areas daily - Lots of sun beds / large pool area - Room amenities are good have everything you need, although dated decor - Good air con - Good choice of food - all inc - Good choice of drinks - all inc - Lovely poached eggs!! and other choices made to order (Occidental all inclusive plus) - Good entertainment during the day - Water park attached to hotel - although ‘water park’ is over stating it for older kids, 3 big slides and a smaller splash park/water play park type area, good for age 0-10 - Comfy beds! - Spacious rooms and balcony good room amenities e.g bath handy for the kid - Cons - evening entertainment mostly in French!? and quite late (kids disco starts 8.15 adult entertainment 9.30) - Jet2 advertises as indoor pool but that’s actually the spa so children under 5 not allowed - Long transfer as on south of island - Food - not great for allergies, seafood salads right next to other salads etc and people seen using the wrong servers for the wrong foods, signs don’t detail exactly what’s in the food just says “oxford salad” for example. The hot food has sections E.g vegetarian corner and seafood. The salad bars should be the same so no cross contamination, - Say it’s forbidden to reserve sunbeds but everyone’s doing it so need to be out early - No umbrellas by the pool , assume because can be windy, just a few massive canopy areas so can be hard to find shade for kids. Had a lovely time and would definitely consider returning.

Food very bad especially for vegararians. Ants and Cockroaches everywhere. Some entertainment OK some very bad. Alcohol drinks not the best. My son left his 2 favourite soft teddies in the room didn't realise until we flew home contacted the hotel only to be told the same thing each time we rang ... more

Food very bad especially for vegararians. Ants and Cockroaches everywhere. Some entertainment OK some very bad. Alcohol drinks not the best. My son left his 2 favourite soft teddies in the room didn't realise until we flew home contacted the hotel only to be told the same thing each time we rang thomas was either away or not available that day so ring back. after 6 times contacting the hotel we have given up on getting our sons teddies back. Entertainment team very friendly. Nice pools but freezing. We would not go back to this hotel.
