We have just arrived back from 5 nights at this amazing hotel. This is the second Gloria Palace we have stayed at and by far the best! We went half board and had room 1202 for the duration which was a large room with a beautiful sea view and an enormous bed. Rooms can be cleaned every day on request with towels/water/tea/coffee replaced to. The only down side is there are no English Channels so if you like watching TV then you need to learn Spanish haha! The hotel’s facilities are also brilliant, the spa/gym is free, the two outside pools are large in size, pretty deep and there is plenty of activities to keep you entertained both day and night. The food is UNREAL with plenty of meat, fish, pastas, salads, bakery, cakes etc and the choices at breakfast were just mind blowing. Every night there is different themed dishes for example Asian night, Spanish night, BBQ night. The hotel staff were the highlight for us. Every person from the cleaners to the general managers smiled and chatted to us which makes you feel so welcomed. Angel who works on the reception is a lovely man who made sure our questions were answered and he would always wave whenever we walked past. Unfortunately we didn’t get to say bye to Angel as he wasn’t working when we checked out. The beach is within walking distance from the hotel and is littered with restaurants, bars and shops for those who want to eat out or just go for drink. Two sun beds and an umbrella cost €12 from 0800-1700 which is good value. Puerto Rico is the main place where you can find all kinds of bars, restaurants, activities, shopping centres etc and this is a good 20 minute walk from the hotel but the taxis are really cheap if you don’t want to walk. Thank you to everyone at Gloria Palace for making our holiday such a pleasure. We will be back in August😁

Excellent hotel with amazing views. Every room has a sea view. Nice restaurant with a good choice of food. Excellent hotel with amazing views. Every room has a sea view. Nice restaurant with a good choice of food. No problem with sunbeds because towels regularly removed if put out before 8.30, which worked perfectly. The hotel is very clean and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice and comfy with a good size balcony and comfy seats. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

This hotel is truly lovely. As it has already been said the staff are very friendly and all work very hard to ensure that you have a great holiday. A special mention goes to Francesca on the daytime entertainment team, she is a superstar, making everyone feel welcome to join in activities but without pressuring anyone. We had a lot of fun playing games around the pool and generally enjoyed her company. Michael in the restaurant and pool bar is also very friendly and works hard to ensure everyone has what they need. The food in the buffet restaurant is of a very high standard. The pool bar offering is very limited for all inclusive guests. There is confusion among the staff sometimes about what is and isn't included in the all inclusive food and drinks package. The hotel is very clean and offers a high degree of comfort in the rooms and in the pool, bar and lounge areas. We didn't use the spa because the weather was so lovely and the infinity pool was perfect. On the evening that we arrived we were rudely woken up at 11.45 at night by the next door room guests who decided to play music at full volume and sing along for about 45 minutes. We reported this at reception and the manager spoke to the next door guests about the noise. they were respectful thereafter. We don't usually book a hotel based on the evening entertainment offering but if this is what you like then you should be aware that this is the one thing that lets this hotel down. Some of the singers struggle to hold a tune and there should be limits to how many times one should have to hear 'proud mary' sung badly. The one singer which we really did enjoy was a male singer who followed the Whitney Houston tribute singer. I didnt catch his name but he really did entertain us with a lively and varied show. The singer on Monday 22nd April was so poor with every new song another few couples went off to bed. The hotel should consider that when they only have the DJ playing music more people get up and dance. Some more interactive evening entertainment wouldn't go amiss. We would definitely return to this hotel because we enjoyed the high quality in the food, comfort and service.
