“Middle of the road. Good for families. Pick your apartment carefully!”

The first room we got was abhorrent. It was an ugly studio down a dingy dark corridor. Avoid that area at all costs. It is the non renovated part that is not in main building area. Make sure you do not get that. Pictures look way better. But it is awful. We slept one night and immediately asked for an upgrade. We paid the difference (40 eu a day extra) for a better situation. We got a nice one bedroom in main building above buffet. Third floor. It’s all renovated and was great. The bed in bedroom was comfy and the couches are actually inbuilt beds in kitchen area. They can be used as couches too if it’s for a couple. Kitchen is well equipped. But you have to buy a sponge-soap pack at reception. There are also zero condiments. Not even salt. We just ate fruit n cheese and made tea so no prob for us. There is a big balcony. A/C works well. No issue w apartment. It’s loud until 11 pm as they have entertained at pool. (Skip that. It’s cringy). The breakfast buffet is 10 Euro and has a great selection. I ordered real coffee from bar as they one in buffet is not very good. Dinner is cafeteria food. Cost 17 euro. We were too tired so we succumbed to eating there twice. But if you have kids it’s convenient. Just know it’s pretty much cafeteria fare. People were chowing down. You get two drink tickets for alcohol. The sangria was as good as the food. Keep tickets for your morning espresso. They accept them. The staff at reception varied from rude to attentive. First night we got a rude response and it seemed we were annoying the receptionist. He was not helpful. Next day better folks. But overall acceptable. Depending. We asked about excursions and he said “can’t you read it’s all there”…. Okkkkk. We did not use pool. Or stay for entertainment. There is parking. Upfront. Best. Avoid driving up as it gets gnarly. Tight and unpaved. It was overall fine. Minus the awful first room and the grouchy welcome. Make sure you stay in renovated area above main pool. Or you will not love it.

Our friends stayed in an upgraded room which was amazing, ours was older and more dated and up a super steep hill but again was beautifully clean and although not as pretty, had all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely lovely with plenty of choice at every meal. Evening entertainment was very good. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from a few shops and bars etc. and the beautiful beach. It is a tiny and quiet resort so would need to travel elsewhere for a bit more life!! The resort suited us just fine but was very hilly so would probably not recommend to the less mobile. The ONLY thing that lets this place down is the attitude of the staff at the beach restaurant, they wouldn't even let us order drinks at the table as we had All Inclusive tokens from the hotel we were told to stand up and order at the bar!! We were very much made to feel uncomfortable in there which is a real shame but would not put me off returning to the hotel, I would also suggest that the management look into the quality of the soft drinks being served in the beach bar as they all tasted like fizzy water but they just shrugged when we asked for them to be changed!! All in all, we had a great time and would love to re-visit but PLEASE sort out the beach restaurant before our next visit!!!!!!!!
