Clean and friendly place, all the staff we came across were really nice and a big thank you to the lady behind reception for printing out a few pages of a document I needed urgently at no cost. She definitely went above and beyond with her customer service here. The apartments are only about a 10 minute walk down to the front and the incline isn’t too bad. The sunbeds were plenty but slightly tired so just be careful which one you choose. The pool area was nice , we never went in the pool though, it was way too cold. The kids and a party of women loved it though. I’d say the only disappointment about this stay was the pictures that the management have put on here look like refurbished rooms, we was in a much more dated room. The room we had was around the back, it was decorated in the 90’s probably and showed its age. It was clean though and the maids came regularly, changing towels and bedding. It had all that you’d need in the kitchen and the shower was decent although like I said before needed some TLC in the bathroom. We didnt use the bar area which has a good variety of drinks and sold food and everyday essentials here but there is a shop a couple of minutes walk away down the hill. The free WiFi was good in all areas. They booked taxis for us at the reception. There’s a safe in the room for a small charge with a deposit for the key. Overall we wanted a cheap winter getaway and for what we paid we were happy and would stay again, maybe next time ask them before hand for one of rooms in their pictures. Final note, get a taxi for transfers, only €14 and no hassle. Thanks again to all staff here, we had a lovely stay.

We had a great stay here in February, booked last minute and stayed for 5 nights. Apartment was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Yes it is about a 8-10 minute walk down to the main strip but we didn't find that a problem at all, infact it was a good way to get your steps in and walk off all that lovely food and drink we had!! There is a small supermarket just down the road and then a large spar not too far away down on the main strip below Spoons. The pool area was nice, well looked after and cleaned every day, the water was very cold though!! We were on the first floor so slept with the window open, there is no air con so I guess that may be an issue in the height of summer. As two females we felt completely safe here and the gates into the complex needed a security code to get in out of hours which was good. The ladies on reception were lovely & helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and I'm sure we'll be back in the future for another last minute break in the sun! Thankyou Los Tulipanes!

“Small room and dated”

Arrived, and the room was ready. The pool looked lovely, and staff were pleasant. Cleaned the room often, reason for my low rating is the room, was very dated, not looking like the pictures from on the beach, was a standard room but pictures showed cooker and a much larger room. It was very dark and freezing cold, had no heating system and only one sofa. It had an adjoining room where the neighbours kept trying the door, and my god, you could hear every conversation even when they argued when drunk about swinging and him inappropriately touching her. We them heard them calling their daughter to talk about drugs this was woth the TV on. Would we stay here again? Hell no. When you pay over 2k for a holiday, you expect a bit more, we have stayed in many places in lanzarote but have never had this issue before.
