Was a lovely time the animation team was so brilliant made my little Girls experience amazing I believe he was a head chef or something like that was lovely with helping with my daughters allergies. The room and hotel was good staff good the only annoying thing is the deposit for cups and plates as never had that anywhere before I think the pool should be opened earlier and it’s not 100% buggy friendly . Overal a good stay very happy

Good standard 3☆ hotel. Can't belive the poor reviews on here, I'm 5 days into a 7 night AI holiday here. The hotel, rooms, food and drinks are perfectly nice ( cruzcampo beer on draught, great). I can only assume that some larger groups of people who are old enough to know better, don't like the standards of civility and respect that the manager and his team promote. Stayed in many AI hotels over the years and this is exactly where a 3☆ hotel should be. Shout out to the the hard working animation team busy all day but not too pushy. You get what you pay for.

Visited here as a part of a hen do and 40th birthday celebration. As soon as we arrived Mario on reception made us feel welcome but then dropped the bombshell that all 4 rooms we had booked would be separated. As we booked last July, I really feel that the rooms should have been made available to be placed together. The rooms were basic, no fridge or kettle, one of the beds was nothing more than a camp bed, there were blood staines on this bedding. We were by no means a rowdy group as the age range was 17 - 67 but it seemed like we were targeted by the reception staff to be kept in line. We had complaints apparently and threatened with the police when my friends in one room were laughing. In my room one of my friends turned over in bed and knock against the wall and we had a very angry German man shouting at us!! ?? The walls must be paper thin. This really isn't the place to go if you want to be awake and talking in your room after 11pm. The entertainment isn't really as good as it should be, I don't know if it was because the season had just started but there were still a lot of people in the hotel to entertain. On the plus side the location is amazing, the beach right across the road, the cleaning and bar staff were just lovely, the alcoholic drinks were very strong not the usual watered down versions and they have Cruzcampo on tap :) As a vegetarian I did enjoy the food, the salads were lovely and the choice was very good compared to other places I've stayed. All in all the hotel needs a revamp, they need to understand while some people go on holiday to relax others go to celebrate so should be allowed to, there are two separate hotels that were merged so this could be easily done. Also they need to train some of the staff to smile...even at the English! Cala D'or is a beautiful place and I really enjoyed my time there it just could have been better with the hotel making a few adjustments xx
