If I had one piece of advice to anyone reading this, it would be to ignore ANY negative reviews! This may be a long one, but I'll give you the most thorough and honest review here to hopefully help those, who like myself, only book stays after I've read a few reviews to set realistic expectations. I stayed here last week with my parents for a last minute and spontaneous little get away and this place was absolutely incredible! It was my first time experiencing a stay at an all inclusive hotel and I already cannot wait to return! I have solo travelled around most of Europe, flown business class to Thailand on Emirates, and partied in Vegas whilst travelling America and I honestly hand on heart cannot say I've ever experienced such FRIENDLY- no, PHENOMENAL customer service by each and every single employee in one hotel, who never ceased to go above and beyond in every way to ensure we had a marvellous stay. First of all, everything you see on every marketed photo is exactly the same in reality and not enhanced in any way. The hotel was spotless, the perfect location with only a short walk to the beach, or a short bus or taxi journey into Palma itself. I booked a single room for myself and a double room for my parents and they both contained the comfiest bed! The shower in my room was superb as it had both a rainfall and standard shower, and I also had a great view from the balcony which overlooked planes taking off and landing from the airport nearby. Now considering Palma is an international airport, I was pleasantly surprised with the silence from the planes after midnight, so my sleep remained undisturbed. The rooms also had a great TV which contained English channels too but with all of the entertainment the hotel had to offer, TV would be a last resort. My only comments I would perhaps mention on the rooms were that the walls were a little bit thin, so if there were people getting back to the hotel after a night out at 4am, they made sure the whole floor heard about it! Fortunately, that wasn't the hotels fault, just the guests who had a little less consideration for other guests- but again, they were on holiday and having a good time so I'm not judging, and it only happened one night thankfully! As for those mentioning about the lack of air conditioning... whilst that was true for my stay last week, it was nothing to complain about as this time of year in Spain is still chilly in the evenings so aircon wasn't really needed at night and if it was, its nothing that your balcony door left open slightly won't fix. The choices of food were endless with something for everyone. Breakfast contained a mix of continental, fresh pastries and cooked breakfasts along side pancake and egg stations. We kept ourselves busy in the daytime exploring the island so only managed to have lunch once during our stay but that too was just as pleasant with fresh salads, cooked dishes, cooking stations, deserts and of course, free flow wine, beer and soft drinks. Dinner is what truly makes this hotel entirely underrated... I'm not going to lie, when I think of all inclusive, I think of the bare minimum of creativity foodwise, with your standard chips, chicken nuggets and a couple of local dishes. Dinner at the illusion Calma & SPA was incredible! Once again there were choices for everyone with a different theme every day! The fish was significantly better than what I had eaten at seafood bistros, the meat was so tender it fell off the bone, the pastas were some of the cheesiest I've ever eaten, and the soup, salad station, cold cuts and cheeses and even the bread station were superb and constantly being maintained or replenished. There was also a snack bar downstairs which operated every day between 12-5pm so you definitely wouldn't go hungry in this hotel! The drinks choices were just as extensive! From beer to wine, to cocktail machines, to spirits and liquors and as well as soft drinks and slushy machines- Turns out I wasn't too old to grab a couple of red and blue slushies to then take to the bar for the wonderful staff to top up with vodka, or peach schnapps, which was an absolute winner with the wonderful weather I was lucky to have during my stay! Branded drinks could also be purchased from the bar too if preferred. Entertainment varied each night from discos, to bingo, to karaoke and more! I didn't stay in much during my trip, but I enjoyed the fact that it was an option to stay in depending on the event happening that night. There was also entertainment happening daytime too so I'm not joking when I say there truly was something for everyone. Maybe I'm being biased as this was my first time staying in an all inclusive hotel, but I genuinely could not have received a better experience. I would like to say a special thank you specifically to Benji for his sensational customer service! Everyday I would see him rushed off his feet with a different job but always with a smile on his face and always having time to come over and check in on me or my parents to see how we were doing, or asking about my parents if he served me at the bar when I was on my own. He is genuinely such a lovely guy and an asset to this hotel. I'd also like to praise Mirtha and Samuel (I apologise if the names are spelt incorrectly) as they too were just as lovely and not a day went by without a smile on their face! At the end of the day, everyone has different expectations and experiences... some are a little bit more petty when it comes to unnecessary criticism, but personally I think you could have the nicest hotel in the world, but it is still the people who make it worth returning to! “Just the 2 of us”

Got this cheap, read reviews b4 coming they were very mixed, its up a side street but turn the corner and your on the beach,stayed in room 305 pool view, we were A/I... food was good standard beer was fine spirits wer weak, but u can pay for branded , all staff were friendly and helpful two poo... more

Got this cheap, read reviews b4 coming they were very mixed, its up a side street but turn the corner and your on the beach,stayed in room 305 pool view, we were A/I... food was good standard beer was fine spirits wer weak, but u can pay for branded , all staff were friendly and helpful two pools and sun beds easily got ( tho it was April) rooms are clean,just one pool table, lovly spa which is free treatments have to be booked and paid for, over all a lobly place would go back no problem.

The location of the hotel is good and only 10 minutes from the airport, don’t bother booking a transfer, get a taxi, you won’t pay more than €20 for it. The hotel is really close to the beach, bars, shops and restaurants (5 mins walk). Most of the hotel staff were lovely and friendly especially Ricardo, Benji and Rafa in the bar. There were plenty of drinks to choose from and a good selection of them for the all inclusive. The entertainment team were friendly but it was very basic/not much on. The pool area is very small and cramped together, you are sitting on top of each other but nonetheless we managed to get sun beds ok each day. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the room was an alright size and we enjoyed a balcony at the front of the hotel as it gets the sun on the evenings. Negative points: The walls are paper thin and you can hear lots of noise throughout the night, take earplugs if your a light sleeper. What’s baffled me the most is the food because I really can’t understand the reviews saying that it’s good! I am not a fussy eater at all but struggled to eat here, meat was fatty and full of bones and other options were mushy, dull and unappetising. All of the food was cold or luke warm at best - Went to use the microwave to heat it up but the microwave didn’t work. Breakfast was the best option. I don’t have kids but I think they would struggle to eat here. Besides the negatives the hotel was alright for what we paid although I probably wouldn’t stay again.
