“Thoroughly Relaxing”

We were lucky to have our rooms upgraded. Had our own plunge pool. Beds the comfiest ever! Everything about the hotel was first class, cleanliness, friendly staff and hard-working entertainment team. Nothing too much trouble.

“Perfect in every way”

We were transferred to this hotel due to under occupation at the sister hotel Alua Illa. I emailed Aluasoul to express my concerns at the bad reviews I'd seen on trip advisor, in particular about paying for sunbeds and loud music around the pool. They assured me we would not have to pay any extra so went ahead with the holiday. We arrived at 10.50pm just in time for a much needed wine or two. The bar closed at 11 but they let us have what we asked for - 3 glasses of wine. We asked if we could get anything to eat and were told that a table had been set for us with a cold plate in the dining room. It was closed, but they had set us a lovely meal of various salads, cold meats, crusty rolls, fruit etc. I cant tell you how much we welcomed this after a long journey. The following day we went in to the dining room and spoke to Daniel, I think the new assistant manager in the dining room? Told him about the bad reviews and he reassured us that things have changed. I can honestly say that every member of staff we met was so friendly and professional. It was difficult at the end of the holiday to decide who or how to tip. Everyone deserved something, it would have been easy to pay hundreds - from the unseen people that cooked the wonderful food, the smily efficient cleaners, bar staff, people in the spa, reception staff , dining room people, animation team, pool bar people - just all members of staff. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We didnt have to pay for sunbeds, and the ambience around the pool - relaxing (low volume!) music and waves lapping a few feet from your feet - was just so relaxing. We experienced an abundance of kindness. If you want mad Ibiza music this place is not for you.Right on the seafront - sit down and soak in the sounds of the waves. If youre in need of rest and relaxation and looking for perfect customer service then please come here, you wont regret it. Added extra - the most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept on memory foam! And so much fabulous food - wow! Downside? A seagull stole Paulas fried egg when she took her eye off the ball , much to other diners amusement!!! If staff are reading -Thank you so, so much, you were so kind and profesional. Paula and Sue - crazy old ladies!

“Nice stay but I wouldn’t stay more than a couple of days”

I’ll be honest the hotel was nice but I don’t fully understand the situation between the hotel and pool area situated across the road from the hotel. Guests at AluaSoul Menorca Adults Only say: Originally we had booked to stay at the nearby Alua Illa,so was a little disappointed when Jet2 Holidays informed us of the change of hotel to the Alua Soul,as I had booked a high-floor sea-view room.But here,I was more than happy with the first-floor sea-view room which we were allocated.As with all 4-star hotels we have booked with Jet2,all was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel.All staff were unfailingly courteous,friendly and helpful.Room decor was pleasing and bright;beds were spacious and comfortable(firm and supportive) and we were pleased that there were sufficient pillows for sitting up comfortably in bed;bathroom was bright,attractively-tiled,with a very good shower,a shaving-mirror and hairdyer;there was plenty of shower gel,shampoo and conditioner;balcony was large enough,with good-quality patio furniture.One deficit was a lack of extra blankets:this would have been appreciated as 2 of the nights were very cold.I raised this matter with the hotel,so I am very confident that awareness of this will now be to the benefit of future guests.In the restaurant,choice and quality of food at all meals was excellent(we stayed All-Inclusive):I particularly enjoyed the good choice of fresh and canned fruit at breakfast.Very nice that staff served us wine with lunchtime and evening meals at no extra cost.The hotel's pool area was beautiful,with an attractive pool.Impressed that sunbeds had deep padding and wooden frames,in contrast with the usual cheap white plastic ones.Both of us were very pleased with the good quality of the all-inclusive wine and beer served at the bars.The whole hotel had a very peaceful and relaxed feel,helped greatly by the lack of motor traffic in the adjacent streets,particularly the road on the promenade fronting the hotel.

All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…

On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties.
