This was our first time in Tunisia and I have irreversibely fallen in love with this country, sea, people, and hospitality! One resort El Mansour turned out to be proper fit for us, with a beach bar, nicely maintained beach with enough sunbeds, hotel had to be few steps away without any road to cross, along with other things like having a safe box in the room, decent food and drinks. Also, having a great DJ, sound and music was important to two of us, as we have heard that recently some of our nationals somehow manage to convince hotel staff to play awful Serbian turbo-folk ( orwhatever they call it now, media and poltiical elites keep obfuscating the genre by giving it a different name every couple of years, nevertheless it is unbearably awful lately it's been dubbed "popular music", but it sounds the same) music. We didn't want to take any chances with that group of hotels playing bad music, One resort was safe bet and was reccomended through social media channels where I asked for advice. DJ was playing Buddha Bar - like tunes along with very excitng Tunisan hip-hop, and music from fitness clubs (zumba music). I enjoyed every single moment in One resort <3 Thanks a million for this experience, to Amir "La Chef" and everyone! It’s true that One resort beach has a little bit of ice-cream. Express bar works 24/7 offering pizza and pancakes to guests along with soft drinks, coffee, and spirits (for instance, whiskey was decent, and rose wine was exceptionally good). I was kind of missing strong black coffee in the morning, they call this sort of coffee “Arabica”, in Serbia we say “Turkish coffee”, for instance Greeks say it’s “Greek” and so on, only to find out it's been served at Shisha bar from 6pm. In the town there's Italian espresso for price of 2 TND for those who like to explore the area on their own. Everyone in the hotel appeared to be relaxed & happy during our stay. For 11 days we did not hear or see anyone being nervous. Hotel is well guarded, guest safety was above my expectations as everything is covered with CCTV. This gave us peace of mind for the rest of our holiday. All the employees are very polite and beautiful humans speaking mostly French and Arabic, along with English and Italian, but language is certainly posing no barrier. All that was combined with genuine kindness, patience and smile. From what I have seen, Hotel One resort El Mansour has the best beach among the top rated hotels in Mahdia sharing the same coast.There is a shower with tap water so that sand from the feet and salt from the skin can go off quickly, and toilets next to the beachj and pool are extraordinarily clean, bright, and have aroma-therapy details included, although most of them have no paper towels, just hand dryers. Rooms were neat and clean, with awesome terrace and many mirrors. It looks like most of them come with a sea or garden view, our had spectacular view from the 1st floor. In resort tips are welcome, but not necessary (ideal for non-Americans) everyone is polite and kind, they simply can’t do enough for you. On the third day of our holiday some of the staff started greeting us in Serbian (big shout out to security staff at the beach!), and by the end of the holiday we were able to ask for drinks in our language too, we kept giggling, but Tunisians are truly awesome and fast learners! Animation team is truly noteworthy. Their shows were spectacular every night, I feel that their dancers could easily get a winter side job in any European theatre during the winter time. It was lovely to see the entertainment team mixing up with teenagers asking them to dance. And I really had a good time watching the kids disco dance on stage kicking off every evening after dinner. I wish I could come again in October, my mind is still at Mediterranean sea and sandy beach <3 I wanted to visit Tunisia for such a long time.

Great Vibes at One Resort El Mansour! My family and I spent two weeks in El Mansour – We had a great time in this hotel, and I would recommend it to families wishing to have fun and good rest in Tunisia. The rooms are old fashioned (Moorish style), but big and clean. The beach is clean with blue water and white sand. The hotel has big pools, and one with waterslides. It’s great fun! There is a big variety of food, fresh and tasty. There is an open bar for fresh drinks all day long, and a pasta bar open until 23hrs. What we liked most is the entertainment team led by Amir… very nice people, they don’t save one single effort to make people happy and involved in different games: Maria, Laora, Pipo, Diego, Sam, Super Mario and Snoopy who was very friendly with the teens. Big bravo to you all – We will come back!

“Lovely hotel ruined by visitors as seems to only accommodate Germans”

The downside of this hotel is we are the only English people in the whole hotel and the Germans think it’s acceptable to take the beds from the early hours of the morning by putting towels over all the beds so there are never any beds available and only coming to them hours later. Ignorance and rudeness of the visitors has ruined this hotel Such a shame. Never the less the staff made us extremely welcome.
