“Good place to stay”

Nice hotel, clean, good location, great sunbathing area with a large pool, lots of choice for breakfast, staff very friendly and always available. 3 min walk into main area of Gumbet where you will find shops, restaurants and bars.

Can’t fault this hotel other than the steps to and from rooms could be problematic for less mobile patrons Rooms are large clean and well furnished (if slightly tired) Breakfast is top notch with no shortage of choice and variety Pool area and pool are very good sun beds are well padded and plentiful Pool is just right temp and water slides are good fun Gym equipment needs overhauled and upgraded Location is perfect 10 min walk to centre and restaurants Beach is literally on doorstep With plenty of play parks sport pitches and cafe bars

We have just arrived home from staying in this hotel. I was a little worried about some of the reviews but I needn’t of been. We arrived late but the hotel staff were friendly and carried my bag for me to our room. There are a lot of stairs so be careful if you have difficulty walking. The room was basic and maybe needed updating a bit but that’s what you get abroad. It was clean and double bed and pillows very comfortable. Clean sheets and linen. Lovely view from our balcony to the sea. Free air con and 3 bottles of water in the fridge. Breakfast was great couldn’t fault it and plenty to chose from, lovely fresh omelette made to order. The pool was nice although we went off most days exploring so only used it once. All staff very pleasant. One day they took our towels but forgot to replace them, there was a direct dial phone line to reception and they arrived in minutes. I would recommend this hotel and I can be quiet critical at times.

We enjoyed a week at bodrum beach resort as a family. Rooms were a good size, clean and had a fridge which is always good for drinks! Unfortunately there were quite a few steps from reception down to the pool area level. There was a lift but we couldn't access it as it was staff only. We did get help with cases and the pram when we arrvived but the rest of the time we had to carry the pram up and down which was a bit frustrating. We were also in a room up stairs and I did notice no one in the ground floor rooms seemed to particularly need them so this could have been organised better. We booked via travel agent and a cot was requested for our 1 year however was not available on arrival and despite constantly asking we didn't get one until day 3 meaning our baby was on a mattress on the floor. Despite these negative points we did enjoy our time. The hotel was clean and the pool area was too. There was never a fight for sunbeds around the pool. Breakfast was a good selection. Just outside the back of the hotel is the beach. There were nice parks for the children. Along the beach are lots of resterauntants. It is quite a tourist spot so most of these were catered to the English however out the front of the hotel you could walk up to the town and we were given some reccomendations for more local resteraunts...highly reccoment eski zoy. Overall good location, clean rooms and enjoyable family holiday...just be ready for steps!
