Customs and documentation

NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION
For UK citizens, a valid personal documentation (Passport) is required, valid for at least three months from the date of arrival in Morocco. With this procedure you can stay in the country for a maximum of three months. If you have planned a longer stay, you must manage a visa. Please note that the need for a visa depends on the country of origin, so we recommend you get in touch with the embassies and consulates before starting the trip.

COSTUMES
During your flight to Morocco or when you arrive at the border you will have to fill out a Customs Declaration that you must submit completed at the passport control post.

Health and safety

HEALTH INSURANCE
The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is NOT valid in Morocco. Health is public, but you can also find semi-public and private clinics. In case of moving temporarily, it is recommended to hire a private helath insurance. In case of emergency, you can contact the UK embassy or consulate and they will provide you with a list of nearby doctors and hospitals.

VACCINESS
No vaccinations are required to travel to Morocco, except for travellers arriving from countries where yellow fever exists. However, it is advisable to keep up with vaccinations against hepatitis and typhus. Ask your doctor in case of doubt.

HYGENE AND CUSTOMS TIPS
When traveling, the organism can have a hard time adapting and become more delicate. Wash your hands often, ask your bottles of water to be closed or opened in your presence and avoid consuming ice. As in all parts of the world, gastric problems are caused by water or food ingestion, probably undercooked or poorly washed.

If I book Flight + Hotel, when will I receive my travel documents?

Once the booking is confirmed you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The voucher for the hotel will be also sent by email plus the vouchers for any other services (car hire, transfer, travel insurance) if booked.

Please note that no flight tickets are sent due to most airlines using e-tickets. You only need to print our confirmation email where the Airline`s booking reference appears and take it with you to the airport with your ID/Passport documents.

Important: Some Low Cost Airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Wizzair, Blueair and others) now request all passengers to check-in online and print the Boarding Cards before departure through their corresponding websites. Failure to do so, these airlines will charge you a supplement at the airport.
