The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday and for the people who love staying in the green. I liked everything, but one of the best thing was the ELECTRIC BICYCLE. my boy loves ciclying and near the apartament there are so many bike routes but in most of them there are climbs so the electric bicycle was perfect for some sport but at the same time to relax and enjoy the trip without obliged my boy to wait for me. I definitely suggest to use these bike to everyone who is going there.

We visit Verona and surrounding area often but this time, wanted to try something a little more relaxing and away from the bustling touristy area of downtown. We loved this place! We found Agriturismo Altobello to be an outstanding alternative to a hotel. This B&B is located just outside the city but still just minutes away from downtown Verona. Our accommodations, consisted of a spacious bedroom and attached bath that were spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable with a beautiful picturesque view of the hills around Verona. Breakfast each morning was a buffet consisting of everything imaginable from eggs, meats, cheeses, cakes, fruits, breads, and much more served in a spacious dinning area. The hostess, Monica, is a very charming, well informed and friendly lady. She clearly seems to enjoy what she does. Monica has all sorts of information to share with guests as to what they might like to see and do all around Verona and the surrounding area. We were very impressed and look forward to coming back to Altobello again next time we visit in Verona. Overall, the nicest B&B we’ve ever stayed in.

Amazing location, with some interesting driving, in very peaceful corner of Veneto. you won't believe you are only 7k from Verona city! and most incredibly you are only 10k from the wine hills also! Monica was the perfect host and looked after us during our staying to the smallest details from dining, touring, visiting and alternative ideas to sightseeing tourism. Would recommend the agritourism also as a starting place for a visit to Gardaland.

“Hindsight is not best view”

Verona was busy, very busy at 20.00 and the road up, very much up, to Altobello made us think maybe not best for a cycling trip. We are met by the effusive and charming Monica, owner, who made us very welcome, ... more

It was dark, a downpour in progress as we made our transfer from airport to Altobello. Verona was busy, very busy at 20.00 and the road up, very much up, to Altobello made us think maybe not best for a cycling trip. We are met by the effusive and charming Monica, owner, who made us very welcome, arranged for pizzas to be delivered from trattoria three miles back down the hill! First issue identified....we have no car only cycles. Fair haired brother did not relish the thought of dark night ascents from the village, well even daylight ascents!! Monica, with the first of many positive interventions, provided us with car hire contacts to follow through the next day. Throughout our stay, five days, Monica made Altobello as pleasant as it could be. Honesty bar for wine, excellent value at €8, breakfast was inevitably an laden table of goodies that would satisfy any dietary requirements. Cycles were previously delivered and stored in separate area with full shower facilities. Our room was spacious with a view across the valley to the distant mountains. Lack of fore sight meant that we had to walk from the main gate to the house, not raining by now, but never a hardship in such lovely surroundings overseen by the spectating horses. However in hindsight if we had done everything by the book we would not have had the adventures or experience the helpfulness and pleasantness of many strangers. Altobello is a lovely setting, just above the quiet little village of Quinzano with its solitary trattoria and two coffee bars, 12k from busy noisy but beautiful Verona. And a hint don't be put off by the weather when viewed from the ily cloudy skies gave way to beautiful sunny days which did seem to surprise even positive thinking Monica.
