Nice and cozy place with amazing staff - Jean Pierre, Antoine and Sofia are absolute stars ❤️ Everything else was very good as well - comfy, clean and quite spacious rooms, good breakfast and decent location.I would definitely stay here again.

As a Diamond there was no upgrade, although the website had availability of upgraded type room but no big issue. Did the online check in and chose our room, what’s the point they changed it anyway. As a Diamond there was no upgrade, although the website had availability of upgraded type room but no big issue. Did the online check in and chose our room, what’s the point they changed it anyway. The initial room they gave us was pretty disappointing, one mug and 2 tea bags for 2 tea drinkers and then a TV that didn’t work. Try to call reception from a pretty dirty phone (given COVID you’d think cleaning a phone would be leant by now) but they don’t answer anyway after 3 attempts. Young lady who did the check in really needs a lesson in “customer service” as she never smiled, was unfriendly and extremely aloof. We asked her if there was “a group of restaurants near by we could check out?” She wrote one restaurants name down and when I asked her where it was or if there were a group of restaurants around this one, she said, “google it” really, that’s how the customer who pays to stay there, thus pays her wages gets treated. As a side not we found there are a group of restaurants in 2 different directions 500-800 metres from the hotel. Anyway, our room was swapped and the new (same type) room was great, no complains with really comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent with lots on offer. There is a laundry in the hotel which was great, (except the laundry sign says “ask reception staff” and when asking the same aloof girl she says, “it’s down there”, the arrow says that so why ask staff?). All other reception and breakfast staff were pleasant, polite and friendly, nod of the head, hello or smile when you walked in or were passing for breakfast. All in all, I really liked this hotel and will be back to stay again. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that one staff member.

Reception and check in all good for us. Staff standard as you would expect at a Hilton. Gold recognised and rewarded with breakfast (plenty of choice and food ok) and a drink each from bar. No upgrade for us. We were surprised for a Hilton there was no USB charging facility in the room, we hadn’t taken plugs. Location good for us as we are happy to walk. Simple walk to main square in about 30 mins. Saint Gilles is 5/10 mins depends which bit you are going too. Trendy art deco neighbourhood. Mini mart available across the road. There is metro stop close, less than 5 mins we didn’t use. We caught Flibco from airport and the station was around 20 mins to walk here. I agree there are better Hilton’s, this is a functional hotel covering most bases. If you want a higher standard I’d say use the Grand Palace and pay more.
