“Very nice, clean, friendly”
We stayed at Hotel Monte Castelo for a few days while exploring Rio. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area and about 5 min walk to the next metro station. The room was clean, a bit small but still okay. “Basic hotel in an old area”
The rooms are very plain and basic with no hair dryer or kettle but they do have an effective aircon, fridge and modern safe that can take a small laptop. “Good Location”
This is a hotel located less than 300 meters from the Gloria Subway Station. Old building, no lifts. Don't expect too much and you'll be happy. AC, TV, WiFi, excellent breakfast. No parking available at the site. Front desk staff very nice. Not beachfront at all.
