the rooms are always clean very friedly staff will try to do the best to make your visit as comfartable as they can the hotel is very central located near rua paulista ,where you can shop have good retaurants

Overall this is a great place to stay. The hotel itself is wonderful. Rooms and facilities, while dated, are great!! The majority of the staff is very attentive. Breakfast is Excellent!! My only major disappointment is that I arrived at the hotel early (about 9 am) and was told if I wanted to check in early I would have to pay a fee (about 60% of my nightly rate) to do so. The man at the front desk was aloof and showed no concern for my situation. At this point I had been on the road with this trip from USA for over 20 hours. I had no option as to when the plane arrived. My choice was to wait 5 hours (they would check me in 1 hour before their checkin time of 3 pm without charge) or pay the fee. I relented and paid it. I had no choice. The room I was assigned to was vacant and assigned to me immediately. It was sitting empty. They were not going to give me the room without a fee. Arriving early has happened many times on my travels around the world and over the years. I cannot remember not being accommodated before. It is a courtesy to their guests. Hotel of this caliber are accustomed to international clients and should make an extra effort to accommodate them. If there were no rooms available I would totally understand. But they had a number of vacant rooms. The hotel was not full by any means. Also, this hotel is not cooperative with Uber. My Uber drivers said they cannot go onto their property so I had to be picked up and dropped off on the street. Not an easy or safe situation at this location due to street design and traffic congestion. The passenger loading area on the hotel property is for Taxis only. Overall this is a great hotel. I wish I could honestly give it 5 Stars. But with the early check in problem I had and not being Uber Friendly I cannot. This is the 21st century and whether they like it or not most people prefer using a ride-share service. With a few tweaks this can be the best hotel value in the Paulista area. I hope they are listening.
