Amazing family holiday. Great location, plenty of pools and sunbeds. Good selection of restaurants and sandwiches and cakes served in the day. Great staff, plenty of choice for breakfast and food replenished often. Great choice of drinks and cocktail menus. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. Great location, entertainment every evening, something different. Full shows with ample seating. 2 hotels with beach in between them, full water park and lots of slides etc.

“Not a 5 stars resort. Not even close! ”

While the facilities are great, the hotel lacks in management. All servers are very young and this reflects on everything. While the facilities are great, the hotel lacks in management. All servers are very young and this reflects on everything. Bad service, impoliteness, no proper cleaning, everything is being done superficial and with no client orientation/respect. Rooms are very outdated, same goes for pools, hallways, everything. Tiles missing from pools, dirty carpets, old mattresses, cracks on doors, that also don't close completely (one could see from outside the room inside). Walls are dirty, bathub leaks. But the most bothering thing is lack of cleaning. Stayed for 10 days - no vacuum, no whashing/changing the glasses, no sink cleaning, no terrace vacuuming or cleaning. Maid forgot a dirty sponge under the sink and one under the desk in the room. Shower curtain was dirty. Just changing towels everyday and sheets every 3 days (a set of sheets had small halls it them, btw). Also, the main restaurant is dirty, with a bad chemical smell, no proper cleaning for dining tables. Food is repetitive and mostly stews and grill. Lowest end deli and cheeses. Beer is the only acceptable drink from the all inclusive menu. As a +, you have access to many pools, including a water park, the beach is very nice, suitable for kids and they also light up a big "spotlight" during the night, which makes beach walks very nice and safe. There are 2 playground in the sand (one with shade) and another one in the garden. Entertainment is nice and cool.

Yesterday we returned from the Royal Palace and I am sharing my impressions The good stuff The rooms are very wide, clean, the sheets were changed every day, the mattress was comfortable, the balcony with a nice view (we were on the 6th floor, three adults) I really liked the food, most of the things I tried were tasty and freshly prepared. There was a Bulgarian evening where everything I ate was great. I gorged myself on baklava and soft drinks. The pastries are very fresh, and the garash cake is super delicious. We never had a problem getting a table, nor did we wait in any huge queues. I recommend the ice cream with both hands. The sea is shallow, the sand fine, it was warm and pleasant. The evening animation is like a show - dancing, skits, not much talking. There are interesting dance groups during the day. On Friday they had a disco on the beach and a wonderful sunrise. The negative stuff The staff at the reception are terribly rude - they are rude, they eat, very far from the concept of courtesy. With a rather rude attitude, we also encountered an older lady who was giving out towels and cleaning the sunbeds at the pools. When we arrived in the bathroom there was a small bar of soap and nothing else. For so much money and a 5-star category, they should at least put a shower gel. We made a remark and they charged, but with great dissatisfaction - well, what do you want now. The beach is not cleaned and is very dirty (two years ago it wasn't like that), the pools are also not cleaned with robots, as it used to be. Most of the cleaners and waiters are from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine. Buckel doesn't speak Bulgarian and it seems stupid to me in my own country to order in English. One of the cleaners every morning began sweeping the stairs above the tables in one part of the restaurant and all the trash and dust fell on 4-5 tables. It literally fell like snow on the people or on the arranged glasses and forks. The same lady, as she was sweeping, took window cleaning spray and started to clean the windows no more than 50 cm from the tables. Actually the restaurant is busy for 2am, couldn't they clean after they close. I have never been to a restaurant where someone is vacuuming, spraying detergent and throwing a rag at less than an arm's length. There were an awful lot of mosquitoes around the amphitheater and I went home on a grate. Overall we are satisfied, but they have reduced the quality. It is not the 5 stars hotel.
