This hotel has a good location next to the harbour area and was ideally situated for getting around Vancouver. Burrell sky train station was 10 minutes walk giving good access to the transport system. I had previously stayed at the Paradox 4 blocks into the city and even though this was situated back from there it felt like a much better base. It’s built on a small footprint so very much everything is level after level, reception ground, restaurant on one etc but it was easy to navigate. The room was well appointed with all the main amenities covered, clean, tidy and in working order. The hanging / wardrobe space was limited in room 610, but this may have just been the design of the room. While there was lots of options for power USB outlets were missing (it just seemed backwards compared to most UK hotels) so you were good if you had power bricks for everything but not so good if you just wanted to plug in a cable. Shaver sockets were also missing from the bathroom which was frustrating because again most UK hotels provide a 110v 240v bathroom socket as standard and have done for many years. Overall the team were super efficient and friendly. The restaurant is a slight let down, we ate just the once there and the food was dull BUT considering what is on offer in the city it must be difficult to carve out a vibrant space while competing with everything Vancouver has to offer. The week stay was comfortable and secure, I would definitely return to this hotel as a good base for visiting considering its location and the local amenities (7/11 on the next corner, Drug Store on the block, cafes, Starbucks etc) for immediate needs.

“Room service dissapointing”

Well this one is a hard review, the hotel and staff were great, but the room service was disappointing. To start, my order was completely wrong. As it arrived it came in a bag and a box. 🤨 it was like a doordash delivery not a room service. Room service meals come on a plate, not in a box.

I stayed here for nearly a week for work. It was my first time at the property though not first time in Vancouver. I picked it for the Coal Harbour location. Overall, this was a very good stay and worked well for a multi day work trip. The suite was spacious and being on the 20th floor, I had great views of the water and part of Stanley Park. The bathroom was also spacious and came with a separate soaker tub, which was nice. The hotel is in a great location for walking practically everywhere. The gym was also pretty good for a hotel gym.
