“Great World Cup few days”

Lovely stay over World Cup and the hotel was amazing. Lovely breakfast, beautiful big rooms, Friendly efficient staff and great location just off the Champs d’Élysée Decor in the hotel was tastefully designed and chic. Would definitely recommend

Brilliant stay, attentive staff, good breakfast and convenient location. Would stay again and recommend to others. Reception staff friendly and always happy to help. Kindly assisted with storing luggage when departing and also recommending places to eat.

We rented 2 rooms (1 for our adult sons) and one for our adult daughter along with my wife and I). I seldomly take the time to write a review but our stay at Hotel Lord Byron was made especially special thanks to the amazing customer service of front desk agent Sebastian. Sebastian was very friendly, had lots of suggestions to make our stay special, and was just a pleasure to speak with. Hotel Lord Byron only has 52 rooms (so very tiny Hotel compared to most) however it seemed the staff all were trained in customer service. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were decent in size and the bathroom was quite large with a very nice glass walk in shower that easily could accommodate to adults (sadly unable to test this out personally on this trip :( I felt the bed was comfortable but a bit on tje form side. Lighting in the room was very good with lots of adjustments and both reflective, overhead, and direct reading lights available. Bathroom door was a sliding door, and window was the type you could open without screens and hang partially out (perhaps unsafe for little ones but fine for most of us). Breakfast is included at Hotel Lord Byron and I felt it was a nice touch. We could request an omelette or self serve pastries, baguette with cheese and lox, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruits, fresh juice selection orange, grape, and still water), as well as boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The main street is right around the corner of Hotel Lord Byron with all the big name brand stores (which we tried very hard to avoid as we weren't interested in spending huge dollars), as well as other more family friendly stores and even a McDonalds and an Apple store were quite close. We found the centrality of Hotel Lord Byron to be one of its strong points. Easy walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, The Eiffel Tower, the Bastile, Metro to The Louvre, and about 2.5 mile walk from Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris (which is under massive reconstruction due to huge fire but due to be completed by Dec of 2024). If you buy tickets to the Eiffel Tower, I recommend spending time at the first floor (with an awesome glass floor about 150 feet in the air), looking at the shops on the second floor as well as eating at the restaurant on the second floor, and of course choosing the ticket that lets you go to the very top. There is a tiny bathroom at the top, but the lines from the second floor for the elevator to the top are quite long with no easy bathroom access until you get to the top. Be sure to not drink much and use the bathroom right before you head to The Eiffel Tower. Also, bring a jacket. It is very cold up there. Mind you, we were there at the end of December during the winter. Perhaps not as big of a deal during the summer, but the wind was pretty strong at the top. You have to see the Eiffel Tower at night. It sparkles every hour on the hour and stays illuminated for the rest of the time in the evening.
