“Great place to stop on trip back from Italy”

We stayed at this delightful hotel on our way back from Italy to the UK a couple of weeks ago. After a long drive we we were delighted by the warm welcome we received. The room was lovely with ample space for a family. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we really liked the quirk decor. Breakfast was also delicious and generous. Most of all the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made us feel welcome. I would definitely visit again. Merci!

“Overall good with a few letdowns.”

I have stayed in this hotel twice, once in September 23, and in April 24. The staff is very kind, the rooms are clean, the decoration is original. Breakfast buffet on the top floor is quite amazing. The two rooms I had were a little small but clean. The two slight disappointments come from the depressing and not very nice smelling bathrooms, and also the fact that I was woken up each time very early in the morning by trucks delivering goods to the shop in front of the hotel so I would suggest booking a room in the back or higher up.

Spent 1 night enroute to a location in Italy. We had never spent much time in Mulhouse so we thought we would give it a try. The hotel is somewhere between a 3 and 4 rating but gave it a 4 out of 5. Things the hotel has to address: Parking. The directions are not straightforward. They need to just give the name of the park house. Once inside it is on the first floor (the door to enter the hotel) but unless you are right in front of it you will not see it. There are some signs that say hotel access then they disappear before you get to the point you need to be. Overall, frustrating and not the first impression you want. Mullhouse center is a diverse and a bit run down city center. It is okay but nothing to really speak about. The day we arrived we were caught in an hour traffic jam with streets leading to the hotel blocked due to a protest. Not the hotels fault but made Arriving painful and between this and the parking issue. I would probably not return. The other quirk is the breakfast room isnlaid out so you are forced to traverse every square meter (inch) of the room. Cold stuff (cheese and meat) in a refrigerator like in your grandmothers house. Doors were hard to open. Milk for tea and coffee not by the tea or coffee but across the room in the refrigerator. The point is. They need to have a rethink about how they have laid out the breakfast room. o Wifi- horrible and only one of 2 of us was able to get on. o It had a kettle but no mini fridge. o Room - nice and big with ample room and nice modern decor. o Elevators - small and agonizingly slow. Overall : expected a little better given the high rating on various booking sites.

I struggle with how to rate this hotel because some aspects were amazing and others were a bit of a let down. It was easy enough to find and parking was available in the attached garage. The lobby area was so beautifully decorated for Christmas and check-in was a breeze. A lot of check-in can be done in advance online, so all we had to do was pick up our keys. The room was on the smaller side, but sufficient for our short two night stay. I loved the mid-century modern style furniture in our room, but I was expecting some of the same quirky styling found in the lobby and breakfast area to be in the room. The bathroom in our room was so stark and sterile feeling and had a huge water stain and mold on the ceiling. Since our stay was short, I didn't think it was worth making a fuss over, but I'm surprised they rent out that room with the mold so visibly present. It definitely put a damper on our stay. The breakfast, though, was lovely and the breakfast room was also very beautifully decked out for Christmas. The hotel was also perfectly situated near the Mulhouse Christmas market. Overall, it was a fine enough stay for two nights, but I think some additional updates could be made so that the rooms fully match the style and vibe presented on the website and in the common areas of the hotel. Plus, some of the signage needs to be updated for consistent branding. The main doors still showed the hotel's previous name which was a little bit confusing upon arrival.
