My husband was working in Germany for two months. My adult daughter and I joined him for three weeks and this apartment/hotel worked out perfect. An extra bed was set up in the spacious living room area and a bathroom separated the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Each room had doors which is a big plus to give people "space". I could use the kitchen in the middle of the night without bothering anyone sleeping in the living room or bedroom! An adjoining hotel has free washers and dryers which look new and work well in a well-equipped laundry room. Next to the laundry rooms - 2 on each floor - there is a nearby lounge with a tv, computers, a sofa, desk, bathroom. Very pleasant. The kitchen is adequate. Enough dishes etc. I bought a cutting board, nothing else. The cookware seemed to be of a good quality and I appreciated it being stainless steel. The housekeepers suck. I would rather just do it myself. The Internet service is lacking but it is free. You can pay to upgrade the service. I liked the neighborhood. Easy walk to many small restaurants - Asian, Turkish, German - and all sorts of small shops and a fantastic bakery. 2 minute walk to a bus stop where for 2 euro you can go to the train station.

“Ok”

It was a lovely hotel perfect for families with kids. We went all inclusive food was ok but give the steak restaurant a miss. Rooms were spacious and outside space a plus as we came with an autistic daughter who struggled to leave the room. Was nice but wouldn’t go back as it was definitely gear... more

It was a lovely hotel perfect for families with kids. We went all inclusive food was ok but give the steak restaurant a miss. Rooms were spacious and outside space a plus as we came with an autistic daughter who struggled to leave the room. Was nice but wouldn’t go back as it was definitely geared more around kids. “Nice hotel outside the rest of the world”

The Elbresidenz is a part of the Holiday Inn complex near the Elbbrücken (Elbbridges). The hotel and the Elbresidenz is very nice with a friendly, helpful and effective staff. Clean with nice restaurants and a pool/spa-area. But the hotel is not well placed if you are in Hamburg for sigtseeing. ... more

The Elbresidenz is a part of the Holiday Inn complex near the Elbbrücken (Elbbridges). The hotel and the Elbresidenz is very nice with a friendly, helpful and effective staff. Clean with nice restaurants and a pool/spa-area. But the hotel is not well placed if you are in Hamburg for sigtseeing. You cannot walk to the city centre (Altstadt). And the neighborhood is rather run-down. And what is really strange is the fact that the hotels wi-fi apparently only is connected to the web part of the time....that is truly annoying.....

“Be aware of extra charges for use of kitchen”

The apartment have no fridge unless you pay extra 20 Euros a day for the use of kitchen.The electric kettle did not work and was changed after 5 reminders! This is my first rented apartment by me, where it cost me 20 Euros for the use of the fridge!!!!!!

“Good functional hotel”

Enjoyed the stay here, price was good kitchen is available at an extra charge, gym is only cardio section and pool is relatively small ( popular with family's) food at the in hotel bar is good and staff are very friendly
