The hotel is located in an excellent area for exploring the city and is conveniently close to the river. However, if you're travelling with children, being mindful is essential, as the street behind the hotel may not be ideal for younger guests. The hotel's sky bar is iconic, but the prices for drinks were relatively high. The lobby and restaurant of the hotel are impressively stylish. The staff members are generally polite and professional, although there were instances where the receptionist was slightly rude. The room itself was very nice, but it's worth noting that the beds consisted of two single mattresses pushed together, and there were two single bed quilts.

A few issues with this hotel and mainly for this price I would expect more. There is not tea or coffee in the room. The hotel food and drink is very expensive. There was no dining options on a Monday night! This is a large hotel and not providing food for guests is odd. Sushi you can get but I am not a fan and there are no other options. The public areas are dark, I found it hard to see or enjoy the company of others in such a dark place. The front doors are hot and miss if they open, you can be left standing in the rain and cold for a while! The shower set up means the bathroom floor is always wet after using it. The beds are weird and have the smallest duvet covers and pillows. I’m not the plus the rooms are large and well soundproofed.

Stayed here 7 nights while in town for business. There was almost always a long wait for reception and there was no clear way in which to queue so people would just cut in. The smokers area is just outside the front door and it is a conference hotel so at times there are dozens of people out there smoking - the reception area stinks of cigarette smoke and every time I came or went from the hotel I had to walk through the smokers. There is no business centre so you need to email reception (and wait) if you need anything printed. The rooms do not have irons or kettles - you can borrow these from reception but they ran out fast. I sent laundry out using their valet service and it was not returned back in the timeframe quoted. It was nearly impossible to secure a cappuccino during breakfast - if I am paying 26 Euros for yogurt then I shouldn't have to ask multiple times for a cappuccino. The bakery across the street has a better breakfast for a third of the cost. The lobby bar doubles as a sushi restaurant that takes reservations so good luck getting a table to grab a drink with colleagues at the end of the work day before heading out on the town. The lounge on the top level is packed and also takes reservations so good luck finding a table there to grab a nightcap after dinner. On a positive note, my room was in good condition and house keeping excellent.
