On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Family break”
Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Car parking was very handy, we didnt move the car our whole stay as the hotel is so central to everything. (Castle 2mins walk, also medival mile museum 2 min walk) The staff had lefr a map of the heritage sites in town which we found very helpful. We ate at the... more

“Great place, but not for everyone ”
We stay here when we’re in Kilkenny & have stayed many times. There’s no lift, no air conditioning, lots of stairs, plenty of passageways, everything shows it’s age, & there are no luxury fixtures. “A Gem… The Clubhouse Hotel -Kilkenny”
Location Excellent ! Right in the heart of the non touristy town of Kilkenny -parking a bit tricky down a side street into a private lot but there you leave it ‘ walk to restaurants and bars and shopping ! It’s a hotel That’s been in the family for 50 years.

“Quaint and lovely.”
Although the Staff, our room the food and the location were wonderful, the website fails to mention that this old building does NOT have air conditioners or lifts. One member of our party has COPD and getting upstairs was strenuous.
