Close to the Grand Canal, Piazza di San Marco, and other tourist spots. Yet surprisingly quiet because it is tucked between two buildings. Friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with our sink and they sent somebody within minutes. Impressive. It has two reception areas that patrons can use to unwind. Near wonderful restaurants and bars. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We felt secure enough to let our three teenaged grandsons walk by themselves. Our multi-generational family is impressed.

“Hotel Bisanzio ✨✨✨✨”

Lovely clean Hotel within distance of most attractions. Staff were very friendly, especially Anthony on the evening shift, however one of day staff was so grumpy all the time with guests and seemed to spring to life when locals walked in. Apart from that would highly recommend.

Great location, few hundreds meters away from St Marco Piazza, ideal to visit the city, as you can easily walk to most of the Venice jewels from there, or catch a vaporetto from the numerous lines stopping at San Zaccaria just few steps away. We reserved a family room, that is advertised as suitable for 4. The first night we were allocated a room on the ground floor, that was not meeting our expectations. It was rather large, but only with one sleeping space, and very dark, and the beds for children were two bunk beds not very confortable. We asked to change, and were moved the next day to a room on the first floor, that was just perfect (room 103) ! As I have read about this hotel, indeed the decoration is rather old, but it was very well maintained, and it gives good overall impression. The cleanliness is perfect. Yes, the TV sets are small, but who comes to Venice to watch TV in a hotel room ? Yes it would be great to have a tea/coffee facility in the room or to have bathrobes available. Staff is caring and pleasant, even if we experienced a minor inconvenience with a restaurant reservation for one of our diner (we came to the place reserved by the hotel reception, but found a closed door). Nevertheless any issue we faced was handled promptly and appropriately. One last comment about breakfast : it is rather dull, and with a quality of products that could easily be upgraded. The prosciutto was good. So in a nutshell, avoid the rooms on the ground floor if you can, and for the hotel management, there is not much to do to make it a 5 stars experience, just a few details to enhance!
