Clean and practical - we wished we had a minifridge, but other than that our stay was perfectly enjoyable. Easy to find and near some bus stops. We were in the area for Carnival, and within walking distance of a delicious gelato and wandered into a cute square just north of the hotel with Carnival celebrations, which was a really enjoyable and less tourist-y part of our experience that I'm so glad we had!

“Great Vacation In Venice”

We stayed in this hotel for ONE WEEK. And yet not enough cos there is so much to see around and nearby. So from airport it like approx 40 mins and costed like €25.00 - €30.00. The receptionist whom we first met was very jolly and friendly… indeed so welcoming!!! Other receptionists were not as approachable as the first one. The reception are is just a medium space. There is a lift which is quite spacious but can be busy at times. The room is also quite a tight space for the three of us and our luggage. The beds are comfy enough although the quilt or blanket was thin for me cos it was a chilly time. The toilet is cute in pink colour… but very unusually built. I still wonder if the room had any heating at all… I just used the extra fleece blanket when I felt cold at night. The room appears very basic but clean and we just had it cleaned 2-3 times but still the domestic arranged our things without being asked… too kind of them. No coffee maker or any fridge. I haven’t seen any swimming pool or gym during our stay cos we were mostly out. Been to Venice and kept going back 3x cos it’s just 20 mins bus ride, the three islands (Murano, Burano and Torcello), Milan and Verona. Near the hotel are shops, bars and restaurants are walking distance. This hotel is in such a great location. My only issue is that I could hear people in the hallway talking or laughing quite loud at night but before 12 mn which was really disturbing. Breakfast was more of cold food, almost the same variety daily. The dining area is a little bit small becomes quite crowded. I thought wow this hotel got a lot of customers. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Btw, we payed city tax which is like £2.40 per person per day. Not bad.

This is a very basic hotel set in the centre of Mestre, great if you're on a budget and don't require fancy pant bits and pieces in your room. This is a very basic hotel set in the centre of Mestre, great if you're on a budget and don't require fancy pant bits and pieces in your room. The room itself was quite small but catered to everything we required. At the end of the day I do not go on holiday to stay in a hotel room all day/night. As long as it is clean (which it was) and has all the necessary things you require then this place is ideal. We had a small balcony which looked out on to the main road. The bed was comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure which is always nice. The only downside to our room was that the only mirror available was one in the bathroom. They could do with putting a mirror on the wall in the bedroom (us woman need somewhere to do our make-up and hair). The hotel reception is very small and basic but the staff are friendly and helpful. There is an option to have breakfast (which is a buffet as expected) for 7 euros. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but it did look like a nice selection when we glanced in. The hotel is in a really good location and central (as the name says) to all amentities. There is a bus stop literally 2 minutes walk away where you can jump on a bus for 1.50 euros to go into Venice itself. There are also lots of nice bars/restaurants literally a stones throw away. If I were to return to Mestre I would stay in this hotel again as it was comfortable and had everything I needed (except for the mirror).

The hotel is worth its price in terms of decoration and layout. During the 3 nights I was there it was overcrowded, I imagine as it is one of the most affordable options in Venice. There's a 24hs friendly reception. The breakfast is good, with variety of things. Unfortunately the dinning room is not very big, tables are very close to each other and it can be quite noisy and uncomfortable. There's only one elevator. One block in front you have the bus that takes you to Venice island and costs 3 euros roundtrip. Near the hotel there's a cute center, with shops and also a couple of supermarkets very close. I noticed that last day that some of the road workers where also taking breakfast in the dinning room... A popular hotel, let's say.
