Excellent location and access to means of transportation Very polite staff and comfortable room with variety of facilities and amenities. Very good decoration and cleanliness at almost every area within the hotel I would recommend it to everyone has decided to explore Rome until the last spectacle

Low key hotel that offers a quieter location in the evening. Rome is rather noisy in most places but this area is fairly quiet after 8pm. Low key hotel that offers a quieter location in the evening. Rome is rather noisy in most places but this area is fairly quiet after 8pm. That was a huge plus after very busy days of touring and lots of noise everywhere. Popular with tour groups as bus loads of travelers from all over the world came and went daily. There are some okay restaurants within walking distance. Better venues are located in the city centre and require a taxi ride unless you want to walk an hour to get there. It’s possible to walk to the Vatican from this location but it takes about 30 minutes and there are a lot of hills. Pros: Relatively clean. Rooms are decent, not fancy but somewhat newer furniture. Bathrooms are a good size with full tub and shower. Towels, soap, body wash, shampoo and toilet paper were always stocked and the room was cleaned every morning and bed made daily. Staff is polite and spoke English as well as Italian. Breakfast was 7-10am. Same food offered every day. Selection was just ok and we tired of it quickly: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, fresh fruit, a selection of breads, pastries, meats, cheese, and vegetables. Two self serve coffee machines available for specialized coffee drinks like cappuccino, americano etc. Bar in the lobby opened around 5pm nightly and had a full array of options plus a few small snacks like chips. There was occasional live music in the evening at the bar. Pool was not open during our stay. It looked dated but clean. Seating in the lobby is ample but dated. There is a courtyard with dining tables and chairs that looked very nice. Other than breakfast time and the evening bar, there are no food and beverage options throughout the day. There are a few shops in walking distance to get bottled water or other beverages and snacks. Bed pillows were decent and 2 per person. Sheets were all white and appeared clean. Flooring in guest rooms is a hard surface that appeared very clean. Guest room has a decent sized closet with a safe and mini fridge. We had adjoining rooms and that was a great and affordable option for a family of four. Free Wi-Fi. Cons: By American standards, this is more of a 3 star hotel (not 4 star as advertised). The place is not very impressive when you pull up- not great landscaping, potted plants are drooping, limited outdoor seating on the front patio. It’s kind of tired looking and dull. Elevators are extremely small and actually state they can only accommodate one person at a time. There is no ventilation so the shower fogs up the bathroom and heats up the whole guest room. Even with the cool outdoor temps of 45-65 F, we had to sleep with the patio door open or it was just too warm in the room. The mattress was very firm. Not terribly uncomfortable but very little give when lying on it. The bedsheets are not fitted and do come off the mattress throughout the night. The mattress does not have a cover just a sheet on it. Tv is all Italian and English subtitles would not work. This hotel is a bit far from Rome attractions and requires taxi service to most places. But as mentioned it was quiet in the evening making it more relaxing after long days of sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel for that reason and that overall it is clean and good value for the price. It is in the neighborhood of Rome City Institute and the Rome Link Campus so it can work for college visits as well.
