“Charming, Convenient and Central”

The hotel appears recently renovated, very nice, comfortable. It’s kept well and clean. There’s a charm to it that is hard to describe. The rooms are cozy and quaint. (The early mornings were so peaceful and relaxing when we would open the windows, birds chirping, a few people walking, no cars or scooters.) No TV in the room, which we thought was a net positive. (Don’t recall if there was a radio / clock. Either way, we didn’t use. But, there was a complimentary-to-use Manet smart tourist-phone.) There is also a “mini-bar” in the room. (Which is good in a pinch but inevitably can lead to billing disagreements.) Note that the prices are fair. Its location is truly fantastic - on an historic square with several restaurants, church (next door), fountain. It is within an easy walk to shops and sights (such as “Ancient Rome”) and classic quiet back streets. The breakfast at the hotel is one of the much better ones we’ve experienced. The food seems local and fresh, prepared nicely (e.g., scrambled eggs were great… and I’m not a scrambled eggs person), good variety of produce, grains, baked goods, and prepared standards. The dining staff is very friendly and courteous (which is true of the front desk staff, too). The front desk folks are also very helpful. They were great with taxis, directions, suggestions, etc. The one drawback while there was the shower. It’s a very nice shower but also incredibly small. And, by that is meant an average sized person will have a hard time maneuvering. As well, the shower curtain will constantly be “with” you. Finally, our shower floor was a bit slippery, so it was important to keep that in mind during use. There is also a toilet with built-in bidet functionality, for those interested. Overall, we recommend this hotel highly.

“Great location”

Great location. Walkable distance to most must-see places. Walkable distance from Rome Termini but its a less than 5-minute walk to the nearest metro, Cavour. The street is lively with a nice fountain. However, it may be a bit noisy if you are in the rooms facing the street. Rooms are quite small... more

Great location. Walkable distance to most must-see places. Walkable distance from Rome Termini but its a less than 5-minute walk to the nearest metro, Cavour. The street is lively with a nice fountain. However, it may be a bit noisy if you are in the rooms facing the street. Rooms are quite small. TV is only available in the Reception area. Breakfast is good. Staff are great.

“Very cramped that you’d never want”

3/5 stars for how cramped the rooms were. We booked the superior double and didn’t even have space to put our luggage on the floor, no less walk around… bed was also very tiny for 2, smaller than a full size? 3/5 stars for how cramped the rooms were. We booked the superior double and didn’t even have space to put our luggage on the floor, no less walk around… bed was also very tiny for 2, smaller than a full size? We found garbage under the bed that wasn’t cleaned from the prior guest. And the bathroom is so tiny, it’s a shower cubicle. If you’re claustrophobic or you’re visiting with kids this is not the place for you. Otherwise the location is great, it’s ~15-20 min walk from the termini and lots of restaurants nearby. It’s within walking from all the tourist attractions. The lobby is nice, people are nice. They have complimentary tea in the lobby, but tap water in the room is 2 euros. There was a deposit, as well as 3% surcharge for credit card payments. We only stayed 1 night to catch a flight, glad this wasn’t our main hotel when we spent 3 nights in Rome, I would’ve gone crazy from how cramped it all was.
