“Central and kind staff”

Great hotel, cenral, very nice and kind staff very helpfull. staying here for the fifth time. a minute walk from trevi and on the main street Triton ,nice renovated rooms. clean. good breakfast .highly recomended Has a restaurant le grondici, a bit expencive

I chose this hotel mainly for it's location - it is roughly 150m from the Trevi Fountain, which my favourite place in Rome. Having said that the Trevi Fountain was so busy the whole time we were there, we wanted to avoid it - however it was great to be so close as we woke one morning at 5.30am to venture just around the corner to get photos of the Trevi with barely any people there. This hotel is one of few in the Trevi area which taxi's can drop you to the door as it adjoins a main road. There is a lovely young lady there at reception who is very friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile - unfortunately I did not get her name. The room looked fairly recently renovated with a comfortable queen bed - although felt like it may have been slightly bigger, so it may have been a King. Very comfortable bed. Windows open - our view was onto the internal courtyard. The bathroom was large - shame that such a large bathroom had such a small shower and no bath. The shower pressure was not great, it took ages to wash my hair and the temperature (even when full 'hot' was on) was just luke warm, which was frustrating. There was a lift - although small, it comfortably fit 2 adults and 3 suitcases in it. Breakfast was pretty average - only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon. Then there was pastries, bread, ham, cheese, tomato, lettuce, cereals, fruits and spreads. The 'juice' was concentrate and they watered it down too much - one morning it literally did just taste like slightly flavoured water. Overall, I liked the hotel and would consider staying again, however only if I could get a lower rate (I paid over AUD380 per night)

“No return”

even though we were here one night, I would not be back and I wouldn’t return our recommend. Check in and out was easy. Helpful front desk the so-called bar, wine, cocktails, etc. they had no bourbon no whiskey lemoncello and no one behind the bar to serve you after 10 minute wait, I went behind the bar and poured a glass wine and left a five euro bill. decent breakfast, a few odd choices, sausage, and sauerkraut, scrambled eggs, rice with peas and carrots, lots and lots of pastries, jam, jellies, etc., but they did have a pancake machine which was pretty cool and again on the odd side in addition to maple syrup they had peanut sauce. spacious clean room, bed was OK, flat skinny pillows, OK bathroom,. Very noisy in the hallway, arguing neighbors, next-door, and room upstairs kept dragging furniture.
