A Gem! We just came back from a two week stay at Hotel Farnese. Wonderful experience!! We really can't say enough about this place. This is a family owned, small hotel (about 20 rooms), with a lot of character, great service, super clean rooms, and extremely convenient location. We chose this hotel mainly because of the location but were blown away by their service and comfort. It has been a while since we haven't felt truly taken care of in a hotel. Not being part of a chain provided a personal experience that is very hard to find these days. Located in the Pratti neighborhood, within a minute walk to LePanto metro station, you can easily walk, take the metro or bus to all main tourist attractions without having to deal with the tourist crowds all day long. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and great shopping . You really can take care of all your non-touristic needs there. We were looking for easy access without the craziness and we were very happy about the location of the hotel. We enjoyed the area very much. Our room was large, especially for Italy's standards. We chose a triple room. Since we were going to be there for two weeks, we wanted to have the sofa bed for extra space. Bathroom was very large as well. Bed was very comfortable. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily (vacuumed and mopped). This is the best cleaning I've seen in any hotel, honestly. Breakfast is served at the nice terrace, which makes your day start in a wonderful note. The entire staff was amazing. From the lady in charge of breakfast, to room staff and front desk. They all had great attitude, super helpful, and caring. They made our stay memorable. Front desk staff is available 24 hours, which I was not really expecting given it is a smaller hotel. We met the owner, super nice lady, and her daughter and son, who works in the hotel. We loved our stay at Hotel Farnese and we will be staying again in our next trip to Rome (hopefully soon!). Recommending it to all our friends and family.

They can keep luggages for free before checking in and after checking out, so you can wander around the city without worries. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and her dog the morning before we left, and she let us pet and play with her dog . So adorable 🥰

“good stay ”

Decent if slightly outdated rooms. But they are clean with new mattress and clean sheets. I would recommend that the owner instruct staff to clean at the curb across the street from the the entry way. Rome is a notoriously neglected ,dirty city that gets worse every year. Decent if slightly outdated rooms. But they are clean with new mattress and clean sheets. I would recommend that the owner instruct staff to clean at the curb across the street from the the entry way. Rome is a notoriously neglected ,dirty city that gets worse every year. When I pull up in the car it is not nice to step out into garbage. The city isnt going to do it ,they never do so even though its not the hotels responsibiity they should take it upon themselves to make sure its clean. Also after staying at the hotel on 3 different occasions it would be nice for the hotel to waive the 2.50 euro for a bottled water.
