We had an amazing stay in the hotel. The stuff is extremely helpful and super kind. They speak really good English. The room was really nice and comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious and it was a huge variety. It has a nice distance from the metro station and nice walking distance from the Vatican.

Very good, lots buffet breakfast. Comfortable beds and pillows, duvets. Spacious and modern toilet and room. Small fridge inside the wardrobe and with safe too. 5 minutes to metro and. Grocery store Carrefour 3 minutes between. Air conditioner and heating control unit doesn’t seem to work properly but we really didn’t feel cold or hot- just right temperature throughout. Stayed 5 days and on 2 nights woke around 5 am due to noise from other bedrooms, which is due to thin wall partition between rooms, I could actually hear conversations next door and the alarm clock - but those were just 2 nights for the 5 days stay which we truly found comfortable, pleasant stay. Very nice hotel staffs, cleaner, concierge, restaurant staff.

This hotel served our needs while visiting my daughter who is studying abroad in Rome. My husband and I were traveling with other our daughter and we got the “vintage” room for three. It had a balcony, which had a nice view of St. Peter’s dome. We didn’t use it much because some days were cold and rainy and/or we were out of the room. The room often had a musty smell when we came home for the day so we had open the balcony doors to get some fresh air. The toilet also did not have great water pressure and sometimes would not flush right away, but it would flush eventually. The breakfast was adequate and had a nice selection of items. Definitely saved us time and hassle having to get breakfast every morning. We found this hotel to be a little out of the way but chose it to be close to our daughter. It is a 10-15 walk to the Vatican and further from other sites/areas. We often took taxis using the Uber app and rarely had to wait for more than a few minutes for a pickup. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we called upon them.

Staff and breakfast are great Hotel has issues. Location is ok. Rooms We had a modernized room. Three people in our room but only one chair and tiny desk space. No drawers, very limited hanging space. The room was spotless and refreshed daily but marks on the duvet (from spilt drink) were left/duvet not changed. Beds were rock solid. Very uncomfortable. Bathroom spotless, fluffy towels and great shower. The area's of the hotel that have been modernized are to a poor standard. Electric sockets with cables hanging out, heating/air con not working. Only shutters on the windows not curtains so light came flooding in early morning through air gaps. When alerted staff came quickly and made electrics etc safe but it's the original install that's cheap/poor quality sorry the wasn't a lot they could do. Room had a kettle with lots of different teas. But no milk. Safe worked as it should. Staff we're mostly friendly. issues. We had issues getting gluten free at breakfast as staff couldn't understand English but it was quickly resolved and most did seem to speak English. Breakfast had a good choice. Hot eggs, bacon and hotdogs. Cold salads, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, slices cheese and meats etc. Pastries and cake. Tinned and fresh fruits. Cereal, bread/toast and toppings. Plenty hot drinks and fruit juices. The area doesn't feel great walking to the subway. It's a residential area and we didn't see any trouble but it didn't feel particularly safe. Lots of quiet dark corners, I wouldn't walk out alone at night. There is a 24hr supermarket between the hotel and the subway that has ready made sandwiches, sushi, fruit pots etc Walking from the hotel to the Vatican is the opposite direction to the subway and along very noisy main roads. There's the constant noise of sirens (from the room also). The walk to the vatican is about 15 minutes mostly downhill, but with steep stairs at the end. 10 minutes from the hotel in this direction is a bustling city center Street with shops, restaurants etc Overall rome hotels are over priced and this is another. The staff and a good breakfast get all the main points, with a few points for being near the Vatican. But sleep wasn't great between a rock hard bed, loud street noise/sirens and morning light waking us up. The hotel is used a lot by school groups as well, and they gather in large groups so noise from that, or just trouble moving around them should be considered.
