My family of 5 were so pleased with our stay at the two-bedroom apartment! It has been beautifully designed and the modern amenities coupled with the old world charm of the building are perfection. Very comfortable! And the location is literally next door to the Spanish steps- you have easy access to the shops & cafes. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. This will be our “go to” vacation rental when we are in Rome from this point on.

“A lovely flat that makes you feel like a local”

We stayed in the Via Margutta flat (separate from the main building). It's lovely. The location is lovely - a quiet and secluded street, yet right next to loads of good central sights. The building is lovely - a bohemian 60s block with a green courtyard, lived in by a wonderfully eclectic collection of actual Rome residents. The space is lovely - a huge downstairs area with kitchenette that includes a cooker, coffee machine, fridge etc (ideal for snacks and drinks - there's a little supermarket just 2 blocks away). Then there's a living area with table and chairs, TV and sofa (sofabed). And then upstairs there's a mezzanine floor with a huge double bed and plenty of wardrobe racks and drawers. The bathroom is lovely - it's massive! There are 2 showers! And some funky light settings. And the outside balcony is loveliest of all - great ambience over the rooftops as you enjoy your morning coffee or evening Aperol. Even the price is lovely - this is way bigger than a hotel suite that would cost much more. Some (minor) caveats in case they help for certain people: You do need to navigate some steps to get to the flat (even though there's a lift part of the way) and the stairs in the flat itself to the upper level are fairly steep - so it's probably not perfect for anyone with serious mobility issues. And the sofabed is big enough for one big kid (like ours) or two little ones, but bear in mind you're all sharing the same big space. I'm not sure it would work for two couples. However if you are a small family or a single / couple this place really does feel like you've cracked Rome. Highly, highly recommended. (Oh yeah - and the people at the main hotel are lovely too. They give you a number to call if you need anything and organise transport from and back to the airport).

We spent 5 nights in the Pierret Deluxe Suite after spending 3 nights closer to the Pantheon. It was perfect for our family of 4 with two bedrooms and a living space with a compact kitchen. We could walk to a small grocery store and get provisions so we didn't have to eat our every meal. Since this hotel does not have breakfast included it was nice to have the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The staff were considerate and very helpful. Making calls for dinner reservations and arranging a car service to take us to the airport upon departure. When we arrived they showed us how the elevator, heating and keys worked for our apartment. The hotel reached out when we booked to find out how we wanted the beds made up. They could be a king sized bed or broken out into two twin beds which was great for our kids to not have to be in a bed together. There is also a fold out couch in the living room so ample room for people to sleep. We loved opening the windows and looking down at Piazza di Spagna and hearing the bustle drift in through the open windows. There is also air conditioning which we did not need in April but could imagine being a welcome refuge in the heat of the summer months. If you want to stay in the center of the bustle of the Spanish Steps and shopping then this is the place for you. The metro stop right next to the hotel making it easy to get to the Vatican and there is an official taxi stand right near the hotel as well. Horse drawn carriages are often parked out front too if you want that experience. A very short walk to so many of the nearby sites (Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps) and 10 minutes walk from Trevi fountain. We'd definitely stay here again when in Rome.

This hotel has a great location beside the Spanish steps. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family apartment. Rooms are soundproofed with in was needed as Spanish steps are very busy. The cons were beds were very hard. The most uncomfortable we had encountered in Italy. A soft matress topper would go a long way. Also no breakfast and coffee in rooms was not the greatest. Overall the location is great but a few modifications are needed to justify its price
